My name is Claire Jackson, I am the youngest of 3 children. My eldest brother Carl and eldest sister Clara. I live with my parents, Dan, he is the beta and mother Clancy who is a warrior. I am 16 years old and I am a werewolf. Today I turn 16 and I am so excited,I finally get to meet my wolf. "Claire Jackson!!! Get down stairs now!" That's my mom... "I'm just getting done" I was getting ready for school,I was placing my wig on my head. I don't know why I have to wear this brunette wig when I have silver hair which I honestly love but mom and dad says I should keep it on,I'm not allowed to ask questions. As I descend down the stairs my elder sister Clara bumps into me,she does it everyday. I don't know where she treats me like this but I'm not bothered. "Morning Clara" She just gives one dirty look. I continue down towards the kitchen "Morning mom" Mom turns her head and gives me a squeeze and whispers "Today is the day,my sweet,Happy birthday" My brother Carl runs up from behind me and I duck making him bump into the freezer. " Why when I try to sneak up on you,you duck as if you see me coming before I actually do" Carl questions."Well,maybe it's because I can smell you from a mile away." I laugh. "Happy birthday little sis" Carl replies with a hug. "Where is daddy?" I ask. Just complete silence. " What's going on?!" I pester on. "Sweety, daddy is with Alpha Daniels" My mother replies without looking at me. "What happened?" I asked but I still receive no proper answer so I storm of to school. "Happy birthday Gorgeous" Johnny my best friend who is quite handsome but is super gay tells. "You always have to be heard?" I question him. He just rolls his eyes and says "Whatever! what's up bombshell?" I giggle at his choice of words. Well... I wouldn't say I'm ugly, I'm just not conceited about my beauty. I have sky blue eyes,light down skin and got thickness in all the right places. " Something's up with my family,just don't know what." I reply. "It's because their baby is getting older" He replies. "If you say so" that's all I could muster up. I continued with the rest of my day. When I got home,the tension was so thick I could cut it with a butter knife. I just went into the kitchen and made a sandwich and went to my room. I took a nap because tonight at midnight I shift and meet my wolf for the first time. Later Carl comes in. "Today is your birthday and you in your room?" he asks. I just stare at him and then roll over. " Okay,I know that you wondering what's happening between dad and Alpha. It's complicated little sis. Soon you will find out everything but in due time" He says. I roll back and look at my big brother and see a tear roll down his cheek,he has always been soft-hearted. His mate will be blessed to have him. "Because I am young everyone thinks I won't understand anything but try me and you might be surprised" I reply. "I know little sis but, in due time" He replies and walks out. I just laid on my bed and thought about what he meant. knock,knock "Princess,may I come in?" I hear my dad asks and waits a few seconds but enters. "Happy birthday! Princess" I just lay there silently. "Okay,what's wrong?" he asks. I sit up and look at him and straight out asked him "What's going on, I'm not that small to understand that something big is about to happen." He looks at me and sighs "Princess,I wish I could protect you but I won't always be able to. My girl,you have turned 16 and today you meet your wolf but the thing is that you have met your wolf before." I look at my dad with so much shock and whisper to him " But,that's impossible. Only a true lycanthrope can do that. How will that be possible if both you and mom are pure breed wolves?" I jumped out of my window and ran until the evening. I fell asleep in the woods and woke up to excruciating pain that made me double over and scream. I closed my eyes and all of a sudden I heard my mother's voice "Dan,she is in so much pain. My poor baby." sobbing. "Clancy, you know what our Moon Goddess said. She has to go through this and this is just the beginning of what's to come. She will suffer more,we will need to keep her safe,until we no longer can" The pain continued with what seemed like hours and I just couldn't take it. I kept going though, I kept going because of my parents and my brother. As always Clara was probably with the Alpha's son, Damien. She thinks he will take her as his Luna but what if his mate comes along what will she do then. "Mom, Dad. Help her please!!" I hear my brother say. "Oh Carl,it has to be done." I hear my dad say. The pain continued and I was in so much pain. Finally I hear my bones crack and pop. It takes a while longer. Finally it's over when it is, I heard the gasps of my family. " Am I that ugly or am I missing a paw? " I ask through mind-link as we are werewolves we can communicate with each other through mind-link. I look up at my mom who kneels before me and says through mind-link "No,my dear. You are the most beautiful wolf I have ever seen. Stand up and let's have a proper look at you." I stand up and hear more gasps. " Little sis,well you aren't little anymore. You are huge. I haven't seen a wolf this big" says Carl through mind-link. I walked to the lake and saw myself. I was huge and white I had my sky blue eyes with diamond shaped iris that were silver. All of a sudden I feel a sharp pain in my head and as quickly as it came I heard a soft but firm voice in my head. " Who are you?!!!" I asked. "Don't be startled dear. I am Angel,your wolf. I am here to guide you on your journey." My wolf replies. "Wait, journey? what do you mean journey? Where are we going?" I asked. "In due time, Princess,it's time to sleep now. We will talk later." She hummed a lullaby and eventually I was sound asleep.
