CHAPTER 12- The meeting

The meeting was gonna start in 10 minutes. Amy was done preparing everything. She was also responsible to help Felix at times needed during the meeting. She was also responsible to write down the important pointers and decisions of the meeting.

She already prepared the agenda for the meeting and had fixed the tools for the presentation.

People started gathering and it was the time for the meeting. They all gathered and after few minutes Felix entered the conference room.

"Good Afternoon everyone today we all are here gathered to discuss about our collaboration with another company. We got three companies to partner with and I want you all to present your views. Let's start the meeting."

The meeting carried on and people started telling their opinions.

"Sir I think that partnering up with DX company would be better as they got higher sales and revenue and their profit is also really nice", an employee said.

"Yes sir, I also think like this" , another employee said.

"Yes sir"

"Yes sir"

They all were agreeing on this but Felix noticed that Amy was still concentrated on the screen which showed the accounts of the DX company.

"What do you think about this Miss Amy?" , Felix asked her.

He her shot towards his direction, she wrote something down on the tab she was holding and said, "I think partnering with Rex company would be more profitable for us rather than with DX company"

"But why Miss Amy, that company isn't making much profit and isn't having much sales too", he asked

"I agree sir but their resources of capital are more than othe companies and also if we calculate the balance sheet properly and tally it with sales and accounts then we spot the error in profit easily. In other words their profit is lesser than they showed us and we can't partner with someone who does this and I'm sure in few days Rex will make nice sales", she explained.

"But sir still after calculation the profit is much higher than other companies", Lara an employee said.

"I agree with Amy, we will invest in Rex company, thank you for your opinions the meeting is done for today." Felix announced

The room was empty and it was only Felix and Amy over there.

"Do you know Miss Amy, I knew DX company faked it's sales and Rex was a better option but I wanted your opinions too, I wanted to test your abilities", Felix said.

"I know sir you won't make some decision on my opinion so I was sure you must been known to this" , Amy answered.

"Well yeah, and I hope you noted down the points of the meeting"

"Yes sir, I'll prepare everything in a file and I'll present it to you", she said as he nodded.

"Good so what's next in my schedule?"

"So sir you have another meeting in 2 hours"

"Oh ok, prepare everything, and let's go have lunch for now"

"Oh okay sir"
