Kaito Yamato walked through the crowded streets, his eyes scanning the rooftops and alleys. He had been doing this for months now, ever since he discovered his ability to reflect damage. It was a useful skill, especially when dealing with the supernatural threats that lurked in the shadows. As he walked, Kaito's phone buzzed with a message from his handler, Ryota. "Meet me at the old clock tower at midnight. I have a job for you." Kaito nodded to himself, already knowing he'd accept. The pay was good, and he needed the money to support Akane's education. Akane's Importance Akane was Kaito's younger sister, and he had become her guardian after their parents' death. He would do anything to provide for her and keep her safe. The Job That night, Kaito met Ryota at the clock tower. Ryota explained the job: a demon had been terrorizing a local neighborhood, and the residents were offering a substantial reward for its elimination. Kaito accepted the job and set out to gather information. He tracked the demon to an abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of town. The Battle As Kaito entered the warehouse, the demon emerged from the shadows. It was a grotesque creature with razor-sharp claws. Kaito drew his knife and prepared for battle. The fight was intense, but Kaito's reflection ability gave him the upper hand. He dodged the demon's attacks and struck back, reflecting the damage and weakening the creature. Aftermath After defeating the demon, Kaito collected his reward and returned to his small apartment. Akane was asleep, unaware of the dangers Kaito faced every night. Kaito smiled, feeling a sense of pride and responsibility. He would continue to protect Akane, no matter the cost.
