Having Lady Hilda abducted, kidnapped, or captured was one thing, but murdered? Who in their right mind could have done such a thing?
I wanted to believe that this murder had nothing to do with Anthony and me, with what Lady Hilda said the night before, on our birthday, when she appeared before everyone at the party, including my parents, and offered to help us. I wanted to believe that, but it was... so difficult.
