CHAPTER 17

“Alpha there are rogues on the borders, there are a lot of them and they can fight. They are not normal rogues, they work well together” one of the guards informed Damien through their mind link in a rush. Damien could feel his warriors distress.

“I am almost there” he growled

Jason told Daisy to stay inside and hide with the rest. He kissed her passionately before promising he would come back for her. He shifted and followed Damien’s path. Will was already with Damien.

When they reached the borders they were faced with more than 50 rouges. They were indeed not normal rouges. They had red glowing eyes and they were ready to attack but they were waiting for something to allow them to fight. And he instantly knew what they were waiting for.

Behind the rogues one stand out, he was huge not like Damien but his wolf size indicated he was someone from a higher rank. His fur wasn't as sleek as his, he had different shades of brown, and had missing parts of his fur on his right side. Showing that he fought a lot. Damien seized him up and down and the wolf seemed to do the same. He knew that the rogues were waiting for his command to attack. He stared into his red eyes and then he snarled to his warriors to attack at the same time the wolf in front of him did.

The battle began. He was getting attacked from everywhere and he dodge and bit every one of them. He was one of the strongest wolves in the world, those rogues have no idea of his strength. His target was the rouge in charge but he was nowhere to be found.

For a mere few seconds his thoughts drift to his mate, and the idea of that rogue getting near her distracts him. It wasn’t for long but it gave one rogue the time to jump on his back and scratch him with its claws. Damien tried to shake him off but his claws were only pushing deeper in his back, opening the wound even more and blood started dripping. He then pushed his paws and fell to his back, crushing the mutt who made him bleed.

Now they really pissed him off. He stands up and races to the first rogue on his sight. He bit his neck down and felt blood inside his mouth. The rouge felt limp on the ground, he was dead. He moved on to the next one and with fast moves he dug his claws to the side of his neck, creating a massive wound that made him fall limb, drowning in his own blood.

Damien killed one more and turned to see how the rest of his warriors were doing. He felt proud of leading such strong men, so far no one of his own died. He turned to look around, searching for the rouge he saw before the battle but he was nowhere. Some rouges were still standing, fighting but they were not as many as they were before, not even half. He and his warriors are strong but they couldn't kill them all so fast, something was off. They either ran away and the rogue responsible for the attack was a coward and run away with them or… before even getting the chance to finish his thought he saw Jason’s wolf running off, back to their territory.

He tried to mind link him but he couldn't get through to him. Fear and worry crept in his mind and spun behind Jason.

“Jason.. Jason..” he growled in frustration though the mind link.

“D-Damien.. Daisy.. they are under attack.. run” was all he said and both wolves ran towards the pack house to save their mates.

As they were moving closer to the pack house, the smell of blood was growing. Both wolves growled and pushed their paws to run faster.

Inside the pack house little Lily was sobbing and Daisy was merely trying to hold back her own tears. They were both afraid and were shaking. Sam yelled to both of them to hide inside the kitchen as he dodged another attack from the wolf near him.

Daisy took Lily in her arms and run to the kitchen. She hid under the table and mind link Jason.

“Baby please hurry, they are too many” she said and her voice was trembling just as her body.

“I am on my way baby, just hold on. I am coming” was all he said, upset and furious as well.

Daisy prayed to the moon goddess to save her pup and Lily. She was too young to die and she must stay alive. She said determined and hid the little girl further. She could sense that Jason was near but she was afraid he wouldn't make it on time.

A rouge appeared in the kitchen, she could she his bare feet walking towards them. She tried to silence Lily but she knew that wont do as he could smell them. He bend down and she felt her blood run cold as she stare inside his red eyes.

“You are next” he said smirking and left the kitchen.

She start shaking even more and pushed her palm to cover her mouth, not allowing her sobs to be heard.

She smelled Sam and calmed down a bit but then she smelled the blood, his blood. She whimpered.

“Jason please hurry” she said and then she heard a loud crush. A wolf ran through the window inside the kitchen. She heard a c***k and then a wolf body’s fell limp in front of her. She started sobbing again and this time she couldn't hide it.

Bones were cracking and then Jason appeared in front of her. She run to his side and hid herself inside of his arms. He was here, they were saved she thought.
