CH#23 Do you want some peanut butter with that jelly?

We entered the hall, the walls were tall and the room big, filled with well dressed people in dresses and Suits. There was a dancing floor in the middle and music was soft way to boring if you ask me. Man, I haven't even entered properly and I'm already bored.

"At least pretend you're not bored." Nate said next to me.

"Have you seen this place how come you aren't as bored as me." I said.

"One, because I'm an adult who has to socialize and two, because once you're around friends and see rest of the night you'll feel better." he replied.

"Come on I'll introduce you to some people, let me know if you see Cam." he said.

He introduced me to a few people which I'm sorry to say was still boring, after that we came to stand with the rest of the boys. Drew was there with his girlfriend who looked amazing, I was standing there chatting with her while Nate got us drinks. Yes, he's being the perfect gentleman and date and no there's nothing going on between us when a voice spoke from behind me.

"The stars that shine the heaven doesn't have the beauty that the beauty in front of me possesses."

I turned around to face Matt giving him a look on that cheesy ass Line which he used on me.

That i***t ignored my look and took my hand in his giving the back of my hand a small kiss,

"Mattie are you drunk?" I asked.

He smiled and said.

"Yes Madame, drunk from your beauty." he replied and I couldn't take it any more. I laughed what on earth is wrong with him, his pupils aren't dilated so, He isn't high.

"Care for a dance, Madam?" he asked and Drew's girlfriend who might I remind you, I don't like anymore nudged me to go ahead.

He took my hand and lead me to the dance floor.

"You know I'm a street racer, I can't dance." I said when we stopped on the dance floor there was a soft music with violin being played.

"I'm a man and I can't sleep." he said.

"What??" I said as he placed my hands on his shoulders.

"I thought we were saying random things that are not partly not true." he replied.

"Oh my god! You're a girl." I exclaimed and he laughed out loud causing me to laugh with him.

"Why the sudden stupidity?" I asked.

"Nate filled me in and don't get angry. I'm here to help you out and from the stink eye we are getting at the moment and the way the glass is about to break I think I'm doing a pretty good job." he said lookup proud of himself

I tried to look around when he held me in place.

"In a moments time I'm going to dip you and you can see it for yourself." he said and before I could actually register what he said he dipped me true to his word Cameron stood against the bar, a drink clutched in his hands and a sour look on his face.

When I was pulled back up, I noticed the tie he was wearing it was the same colour as my dressed and the one Nate wore a few minutes ago.

"Green is not a pretty colour is it, funny thing is his date for tonight is wearing the same colour laughing with another man" Matt said.

"I guess it is, isn't it then, lucky I'm not wearing it tonight.” I replied.

"Can we stop? I'm thirsty.” I said.

"Sure, come this way." he said breaking the dance.

The day was looking a little bit better, not by much but I wasn't hella bored right now as I was before, we all were being seated for dinner Matt sat next to me whispering in my ear that keep smiling and laughing occasionally even though he's funny already because Cameron sitting across was fuming.

"Excuse me." I said as I stood up to go the rest room, doing my business and washing my hand as I stepped out from I crashed into a body, I looked up and stepped aside when my hand was grasped stopping me in my steps.

"Whatever you're trying to do it's gotta stop, my brothers are not play toys that you're moving from one to another." he said angrily

"Oh yeah what are you jealous??" I replied.

"Very funny, it's a Warning don't mess with my brothers." he said.

"Do you want some peanut butter with that jelly?" I said sarcastically avoiding his comment .

"It's bro's before hoe now isn't it or is it just that you can't let anyone else have what you can't." I added and walked passed him leaving him with his mouth hung open.

I got back to the table,

"What took you so long?"Matt asked.

"I met with an i***t on the way "I replied.

"So, what did my dear brother say now?" he asked.

"He warned me not to mess with his brothers because apparently you guys are not "play toy." I replied to him.

"Seriously! he said that? Man he really must be whipped." he said.

"Hah! I don't think he's whipped more like trying to make sure I'm not occupied and neither are you guys so that he can get the chance to play me once again." I said bitterly.

"Hey come on anger is not good for you, and if you wish to you can show it at the race tomorrow." he said.

"Drakey why are you standing there like that." I asked when I saw him standing in front of me looking nervous.

"Dance with me?" he asked rubbing the back of his neck, I narrowed my eyes. Stupid Nate did he let everyone know.

"I promise Nate didn't ask me too, though he did fill me in with the plan, and please don't kill him. If he hadn't there would have been a blood bath." he added.

"Fine." I said getting up let him get his wish too as well.

We had been dancing quietly for a few seconds when he spoke up.

"Look, I know you're doing to it to make Cameron understand and you won't really hurt him nor will my brothers but please be careful with him, I know Nate suggested the idea and he's the one closest to Cameron but just try not to go overboard." he said.

"I really don't mean to make you feel guilty, I mean, I'll even help you out we can go on a double date and stuff but I just wanted to let you know." he added.

"Don't worry, I don't plan on doing it for much long, there's less than six months for me to go back home and even if he doesn't react I won't bother him much." I replied.

"May I cut in?" Cameron's voice spoke to stop us.

Drake looked reluctant but didn't say anything and let me go.

"I didn't know you can dance this well?" he said.

"Oh and I didn't know you can be this big Of a A-hole." I shot back.

"Is that how you take a complement?" he said smirking.

"Don't you have a girlfriend to get to? Wouldn’t want to upset her now would you?" I asked.

"Oh of course not, but I can't let someone looking so well and not get the opportunity to dance." he said.

"You know the guy against the bar isn't so bad looking you should try to get a dance with him as well." I said.

"Oh yeah! Maybe I will." he replied.

"I'll let you to it then." I replied got away form him and winked at him swaying my hips sauntering back to the rest of the boys.

The night finally ended and we head back home and surprisingly Nate does go to work shocker! I know, getting home changing myself I flopped on the bed thinking of the day and the ones to come.
