CH#13 The boys are here

I was woken up by my alarm with a shrill "UGGGH!!! Why does school have to start in the morning?" I mumbled to myself. I got up from the comfort of the bed and tugged myself to take a shower. After doing my business, I wore a blue shirt 'no shirt"' was quoted on it with, some ripped jeans and my converse and ran downstairs thing 1&2 and Matt were eating cereal.

"Morning." I greeted and sat on one of the chairs. Morning the rest grunted.

"Morning peeps." Nate came and ruffled Matt's hair and sat next to him.

"Aren't you a ray of sunshine this morning." Cam spoke from behind him.

"Yeah what got you so happy this morning? Got a hot date?" Matt asked narrowing his eyes at him. "Can't a guy smile in the morning? Does there have to be a reason?" Nate replied.

"Now I'm curious, something's up." I asked raising my eyebrow at him.

He narrowed his eyes at me "I thought you were my friend." he said and bought his hand on his chest gesturing, I broke his heart.

"And don't you know curiosity killed the cat?" he said.

"And satisfaction bought it back, but who cares cat has nine freaking lives." I shot back.

"As much I'm enjoying your friendly banter, we have to go, or we'll be late." Matt said dragging me from the chair.

"But I haven't had my breakfast yet." I whined.

"Catch!" Cam said and threw a pop tart at me luckily I have fast reflex and caught it. I shot him a glare which he returned with a smirk.

"You better watch out." I threatened him, while the boys chuckled and walked behind Matt to the car. I sat shotgun with thing 1&2 in the back.

Few minutes later, once we parked and got off Matt sung his arm around my shoulder, I could feel the glares of girls around me.

"Hey." a bubbly Megan came to my rescue and pulled me along.

"hi." I replied and mumbled bye to the boys.

"So how come you ride with the hotties every day?" She asked.

"Hotties?" I asked.

"Yeah the Anderson's." She replied with a duh tone when we were joined by her other two friends Lacey and Becca "Well yeah, I live with them." I replied.

"Oh yeah I forgot family friends right." "mm" I replied.

The bell rang, and we headed to class, and soon it was lunch, yay food.

"Yo Aqua here!" yelled Matt from his table causing everyone to turn to me.

Ugggh, why does he have to do that? I put on a fake smile at him and went there.

"Hey." Matt said when I came close and pulled a chair out for me.

I narrowed my eyes at him, "Actually, I'm gonna sit with my friends." I said.

"They can join we don't mind." he replied.

"Oh that's great!" Megan said enthusiastically And took a seat, they introduced themselves.

"Is there something going on between you two?" She whispered to me.

Which cause my eyes to bulge out of the sockets.

"No!" I whisper-yelled.

"Hey just asking no need to get defensive." She said in surrender. The rest of the day passed uneventful, and we head back home.

"Aqua there's someone here to see you." Aunt Lucy yelled through to intercom. Who's here? I thought to myself and ran downstairs. There standing near the couches were my two best friends. I ran and jump at Chris not noticing anything around me. He twirled me around laughing causing me to laugh as well.

"Ahh! I missed you." he mumbled in my hair.

"I missed you too." I said my standing in front of him. He had the same twinkle in his eye. I always saw and broke away when I heard a cough by Josh and lunged towards Josh.

"I missed you guys so much, how did you get here?" I said in awe, when the back door was slammed shut, but I was too busy to see who went out.

"We called your Aunt and told her we wanted to surprise you, so she picked us up." Chris replied still grinning like the i***t he is.

"Aren't you gonna introduce us?" Nate asked with a raised eyebrow. Oh I forgot they were here as well sitting on the couches. "Yeah Chris and Josh these are Nate, Matt, Jake and Drake and guys these are my friends Chris and Josh." I introduced then they did their man shake thing and stuff and talked like they were old friends.

"Why don't you show the boys their room boys?" Aunt Lucy broke them up. "Yeah I've got to run got a date." Jake said and left Drake went back to his room. Nate led the boys to the room next to his.

"So how long have you guys known each other?" Matt asked.

"Like 8 years or so." I replied.

"Are you dating Chris?" he blurted out! And I doubled in laughter. I felt tears at the corner of my eyes. "Hahaha me dating Chris. Really? What gave you that Idea?" I asked still laughing.

"You guys seemed pretty close." He said.

"Yes, we've known each other for years. That’s what happens when you've known someone for long." I replied brushing him off when his phone rang, and he left to take the call.

I made my way to my friend's room. And burst the door open and plopped on the bed.

"Soo how's it going?” I asked.

"Shouldn't we ask you that? there are a lot of boys here."C hris asked unpacking.

"Like if something like this ever affected me before." I said with an eye roll.

"Yeah but this is different you didn't have to live with them before." Chris replied now next to me on the bed.

"So we haven't met that Cameron you mentioned on the phone." he said.

"Hmm yeah he wasn't there, you'll probably meet him at dinner. You'll get to meet Andrew if you're still here on the weekend and Greg you'll know when you see him by the way. How long how long are you here for?" I said.

"One week." he replied.

"That's all I'm seeing you guys after 3 weeks, and you're only here for a week!" I exclaimed.

He laced his finger with mine and said. "If we don't leave. How will we be back?" I just grunted at his logic. "So have you found a racing rig or something here?" he asked.

"Nope I haven't though I raced once." I replied.

"Why didn't I hear about this before?" he asked with a raised eyebrow. And I told him about the party and how I came across racing, when the door knocked And Matt popped his head in.

"Hey" he said and paused when he saw us lying next to each other with our hands still laced he shook his head and said. "Dinner is ready you guys should come down." he said and left. And my stomach growled. Chris laughed

"I'm glad you still have you appetite." he said and I elbowed his ribs.

"And that you still hit like a man." he grunted and went to check on josh. We popped our head in his room. "Yeah I'm ready." he said and swung his arm around my shoulders over Chris's hand.

I shrugged them both off and turned around with my arms crossed.

"What am I an arm holder or something?" I asked with narrowed eyed. Chris turned me around.

"No, you're our best friend" and ruffled my hair. "I'm giving you 5 seconds to run as fast as you can." I threatened him and he took off.
