Mindy is asking me what she"s supposed to do about Mother. But grief consumes me, and I don’t have time to think. There are plenty of places to get rid of a dead body on that property, numerous places no one would ever think to look. I knew there had to be a way to get Mindy back. We were made for each other. And now, she has a secret that needs keeping. Nothing says love more than that.
But my attention is abruptly drawn away from her plea as I catch sight of Taylor in her backyard and, at the last minute, I have a change of heart. My heart nearly leaps out of my chest. I can"t believe my eyes. I can"t believe they"re back.
