Sara’s pov I walked into the packhouse, my steps slow and firm. I could feel the floor under me was smooth and clean. These wolves really knew how to get their chores done. The maids saw me and quickly moved out of my way. One dropped her tray and bent fast to pick it up. Sometimes I liked the attention they gave me. Other times I felt like maybe they were overreacting. But either way, I was glad they were not in my way. One of them opened a door and ran back as they were scared of me but I didn’t smile to anyone. I was living up to my name of the pack witch.
