Selene’s pov I stepped out of the car, my hand pressed protectively over my belly. It felt good to be out in the open again- to smell city air even if it wasn't as refreshing as pack forest. And then I jolted back, staring. Dante opened the back of the car and began unloading things. “Wait,” I said, my eyebrows lifting. “What are you doing?” He smiled, like a child that had a secret.
