*Britney’s P.O.V*

‘Famous Britney? You know what forget about it’ I said to myself. Bryan got discharged. ‘Hey, daddy’s girl! Bry and I are going to be riding with you’ Evie said giving me a diva smirk. Daddy’s girl? You’ve got to be f*****g kidding me ‘Sure…’ I said plastering a fake smile on my face ‘what happened to your car?’ I asked ‘It got busted on my last mission. So I took an uber’ she answered. The awkward silence began until a nurse walked in ‘Bryan Johnson? I need to do a final check on your vitals and I’m going to request that you ladies step out for a second’ she said looking at Evie and me.

Evie walked up to me and whispered in my ear ‘Just to be clear Bryan and I are a serious thing and someday we’re going to get married, have kids, send them off to college and f**k till dawn. I have seen the way you look at him, I’m going to need you to back the f**k off or you’re going to regret the minute he introduced you to me’. ‘I have a boyfriend and just to be clear *middle finger up*’ I said walking away.

*In the car*

Evie was all over Bryan in the back seat, it looks like he’s struggling to keep up ‘c’mon guys can you not make out in my car, its gross and I need to concentrate’ I said trying to concentrate, Evie scoffs getting off Bryan.

‘Thanks for the ride Britney, you can leave now Bry and I have a lot of catching up to do’ she said placing her hand on Bryan’s chest ‘I live here…oh…I’m famous and you didn’t know this?...disappoint’ I said going upstairs.

*Evie’s P.O.V*

‘Are you kidding me?! Why is she staying here? Can’t you like get a safe house for her or something?’ I said angrily glaring at him ‘Evie come on she was attacked the last time she was alone, and by the way she still has to train’ he said as he took my hand ‘I love you Evie’ he said ‘I love you too Bry’

*later that night*

*Britney’s P.O.V*

I have had enough drama for one day, a nice peaceful sleep would be just fine. Just then my phone rang

Daniel; hey honey did you get home safe?

Britney; yeah dad, by the way, where did you run off to?

Daniel; Blair wasn’t feeling too good so I had to go home to take care of her and Cece

Britney; who is Blair and Cece?

Daniel; my wife and kid

Britney; ohhh...hope they’ll be fine

Daniel; sure they will, so how’s the house…you know…with Evie

Britney; I’m still sane at least for now. It’s going to be fine as long as she doesn’t cross the line.

Daniel; *laughs* just take it easy, I know she can be a pain in the ass sometimes but deep, deep, deep down I know there’s a sweet Evie.

Britney; *laughs* good night dad

Daniel; before you go can you deliver a message to Bryan for me? I’ve been trying to call him but it’s going straight to voicemail.

Britney; sure…what is it?

Daniel; we’ve got a new lead on the case, tell him to video call me now.

Britney; alright, I’ll deliver the message

Daniel; ok honey *hangs up*

*Bryan’s P.O.V*

Evie is looking so hot and it’s been a long time since we talked but I can’t seem to get Britney off my mind.

*Evie’s P.O.V*

Bryan looks like he’s lost in his thoughts it’s time to do what I do best. I walked into the kitchen with the hope of finding Bryan so I could deliver the message…and I did. ‘oh my god’ I said in shock as I walked in on half-naked Bryan and Evie ‘I’m so sorry I said turning around facing the door as they scrambled to get dressed ‘Daniel called and said I should tell you that he found a new lead and you should video call him now’ I said as I quickly walked away

Bryan called Daniel using an iPad, his face popped up on what looked like a TV but with a selfie camera. ‘Hello agent Johnson, agent Jordan, and agent Frank’ he said as I burst out with laughter. ‘Frank’s your last name *laughing* that’s a terrible name’ I said looking at Evie ‘Funny, it’s just a matter of time it’ll change Johnson’ she said as I chuckled and looked at Bryan who had no expression on his face ‘anyway, I got a new lead on the blackbirds, a sale is going down tomorrow night at a high-class event between the blackbirds and a Russian spy his name is Arturo Vladimir, I’ve sent his picture to you. He’s trading brainiac; a device that can hack into anything and everything if it’s used to its full capacity, for five million dollars, we can’t let the blackbirds lay their hands on it because if they do, they are going to have access to every security camera, every device and every data in the United States. Agent Johnson and Jordan I’m going to need both of you to go undercover as Mr. and Mrs. Williams a bi-racial couple these are their pictures, make sure you look like them, Evie and I will be your bodyguards.’ Daniel said ‘hold on a sec…these “blackbirds” don’t they have faces and what’s going to happen to the real Mr. and Mrs. Williams?’ I asked folding my arms. ‘well no one has ever seen their faces before, the last time we caught one of their guys he refused to confess even after torture and committed suicide in jail, so trust no one and for the real Mr. and Mrs. William we’ve taken care of them and no, we didn’t kill them’ Bryan answered ‘thank you agent Johnson, now goodnight rest well we’ve got a big day tomorrow’ Daniel said before he ended the video call.

*the next morning*

I stepped out of my room, almost immediately Bryan came out of his room barely dressed ‘good morning’ he said ‘good morning to you too, looks like you’re already having an exciting day’ I replied as I gestured at his morning glory ‘oh!’ he exclaimed trying to hide his embarrassment. ‘So…what am I going to wear to the big event?’ I asked ‘don’t worry it’s all sorted out’ he replied.

***********later that night*********

I wore a wine forever 21 maxi, spaghetti slit dress with black cut out heels, and I let my hair flow with large curls from the left to the right side of my face. I walked down the stairs with all eyes on me.

*Bryan’s P.O.V*

As Britney came down the stairs looking flawless and incredibly sexy the only word that managed to escape from my mouth is ‘WOW…’ ‘Honey you look beautiful’ Daniel said pulling Britney in for a warm hug ‘Thanks dad’ she said giving him a genuine smile. ‘Umm…this is your earpiece’ I said handing her a tiny earpiece as she collected it and inserted it in her ear ‘…and your tracker…can I?’ I asked as I tried to insert her tracker in her dress ‘sure…’ she replied. I tried to hide the fact that she’s so hot. ‘Are you sure you’re up for this?’ I asked staring at her. ‘Well there’s no turning back now’ she answered. ‘Our ride’s out front’ Evie said as she peeped through the window.

On getting to the event Daniel went to the north end of the building and Evie stayed on the lookout downstairs as Britney and I went upstairs acting as buyers. We had to disconnect our bugs and trash our earpieces because we were going to be swept to convince the Russian seller that we weren’t Feds. The sale went down smoothly but we have been compromised ‘the blackbirds are on their way’ Britney said as she eavesdropped on a phone conversation ‘we have to get out NOW!’
