Chapter Thirteen
Lir spent the rest of the day taking the kids around Bull Creek in their wolf form, exploring the surrounding woods and along the lakes that dabbled the area. When they returned, the boys gave Fionna her privacy to shift back as they transformed into their human forms once more on the other side of the house. Lir took a moment to call Dimitri to tell him what happened, explaining that the boys seemed fine, even though they still had no idea how the shift came upon them so early. He also sent Aoife a text, apologizing for disappearing for most of the day and then explaining what happened and how he went on an excursion with the kids. She seemed more upset that he hadn’t told her what happened before shifting and racing off with the children than that the twins had complete
