Chapter Seventeen
AS SOON AS she left Lir, Aoife headed straight for Bull Creek. The kids should arrive home from school soon, and if she was lucky, she would beat anyone else to them Adira might have sent when she called for help. While Aoife had no proof that it was actually Adira who had broken into her house, she had no idea who else it would be. It was too coincidental after her run-in with them at the hardware store for some random person to force their way into her home. She had to assume they had discovered what she was up to and act quickly before all of her plans were for nothing. That, she couldn’t allow to happen.
