Weird

Marcus's POV "Your mother?" Liam never talked anything about his parents this past 3 years he worked with me. It is a bit surprising to have his mother visit him. I quietly followed him with Edward to the lounge. He was being awfully quiet and fast moving to the lounge. As we stepped into the lounge, there was an old woman sitting while fidgeting her fingers. I stood there looking for any resemblance of him and the old woman but I found nothing. Also, why the hell is his mother looks awfully young even with her grey hair. "Son.", the woman cried charging on Liam and engulfing him into her hug. "And you must be Edward. It's really nice to finally meet you.", she pinched Edward's cheek. Edward and I exchanged looks. This is really weird and awkward. Liam seemed really lost gazing the hole out of the woman but she isn't a bit bothered by him. "Mam, I'm sorry but who are you?", Liam asked holding his polite attitude as always. The lady blinked. She stood there her eyes tearing up. She pulled out a handkerchief and sat at the sit crying her eyes out. Weird. Really weird. "How could you, Liam Parker? I have been raising you and you ungrateful child, you dare to ask who am I?" , she blew her nose. I called upon guards on stand by meanwhile I took Liam and the woman into an empty conference room. I can't afford any commotion at the main entrance of my empire. That would cause scandals and lots of lost. "Mam, I am really serious about this. Who are you? If you don't tell me the truth I will have to ask the guards to escort you out of this building.", Liam grew impatient. That earned him a big slap on his cheek. Edward flinched and went to block her but I stopped him. This is actually getting quite interesting I would say. "Thea would never have done this to me, young man. You are a disappointment to me. ", she cried. "Thea? How do you know her?" Thea? Who is it? Is she really his mother. I could sense he is being protective towards this girl. He had never mentioned her to me. Suddenly, the woman turned toward me. "Son could I have a moment with Liam in private.",she asked. I nodded in return and turned to move out of the room. Edward was hesitant to leave them but I pulled him with me and went to the room next to theirs. I smirked. I made the right decision to bring them into the trainees' conference room, next to it I always made sure to have an observation room. "Liam, how could you not recognize me. This face, my voice. You have forgotten me." I saw her expression really sincere as she sat on the chair. Liam stood there hugging his body. Suddenly, Liam exclaimed. "Oh my God! Freaking hell!", he screamed as if he noticed something. Edward and I exchanged glances. The old woman laughed and took off her wig. Wig? Wait, what? Flowy reddish-brown hair was falling. Edward gasped. "Welcome home, baby girl. I am so going to kill you for pulling this stunt but first, give me a hug.", Liam pulled her into a tight hug. "She is the right one.", Edward mumbled with irritation. "Guys, come on here.", Liam said looking into the mirror. He knew we were watching. Edward and I both went into the room. She was still in Liam's arm when we entered. Smiling apologetically. "Edward, Marcus this is Thea my best friend and sister. Now, apologize.", He said firmly but with a tint of smile playing on his lips. "I am extremely sorry, for ruining your lunch hour. Thea, Thea Collin.", she smiled.
