Richard leans back, a flicker of hope mingling with the tension etched into his features. He clasps his hands together as he speaks, his voice calm but deliberate.
“After Nora went into hiding with you, Nicole, her mate—your father—and their pack also disappeared. It was a protective measure, no doubt. They knew that he wouldn’t stop until he found Nora or someone connected to her bloodline. Without their pack’s location, he couldn’t use them as leverage. They’ve stayed hidden all these years, even from us. But,” he pauses, leaning forward slightly, “there might be a way to contact them.”
Nicole’s eyes widened, and she squeezes my hand. “You can find them? You can find my father?” she asks, her voice filled with a mixture of hope and fear.
