I stand in Drake’s office, his words playing over and over in my mind. "We finally have a meeting with someone from my father’s pack." I think to myself. This is the breakthrough we’ve been waiting for, the chance to get answers, to piece together the puzzle of my past.
But now that it’s actually happening, unease creeps in, casting a shadow over the moment. What if it’s a trap? What if this person isn’t who they claim to be? The thought lingers, heavy and unwelcome.
