I am still lying in my bed contemplating if I should get out and start this day when Abby knocks on my door and enters my room.
Abby shakes her head at me, but joins me on my bed. "Why are you still in bed? I thought you would be up and ready to get some answers by now."
I pull the blankets over my head before I answer. "I want answers as to why they have been lying to me, but I am also afraid I won't like the answers I get."
Abby pulls the blankets from my head and pulls me up until I am sitting on my bed facing her. "I can't tell you I know how you are feeling, but what I can say is if I were in your shoes I would want to know the truth, no matter how hard it might be to hear. You deserve to know the truth about why they lied to you and where you come from."
