Drake and I are still sitting in the living room just talking about everything. I still don't like the idea of a permanent bodyguard, but I guess that is better than being confined to pack grounds. I am so lost in thought that I don't even hear Drake talking to me.
He touches my shoulder to get my attention and I look at him. He is frowning at me as he asks. "Did you hear me? What is wrong?"
I shake my head. "Yes, everything is fine. Sorry, I was just lost in thought. After today, I have a lot to think about."
Drake nods his head and then looks at his watch. "I have to write a few letters for the scouts to take with them tomorrow. If you want, I can write them here in my home office and then you can join me if you want to?"
