As Aiden and I drive through the gates of the pack grounds, the familiar sights bring a fleeting sense of relief. But the weight of what we discovered at the warehouse keeps my mind sharp and focused. I immediately open a mind link to Mark, as I park the car in the carport.
"Mark, meet us in my office," I instruct, keeping my tone firm but neutral. "We’ve got something important to discuss."
"On my way," Mark replies instantly, his voice carrying the same urgency I feel.
Aiden and I step out of the car and head straight to my office. The morning air is crisp, but my thoughts are clouded with the implications of what we found. Zachary’s scent, the evidence of multiple wolves using the warehouse as a base, it’s all too calculated. Too deliberate.
