Nicole's Pov
As we all gather at the dinner table with our plates, the hum of quiet conversation surrounds us. I sit between Drake and Sienna, enjoying the warm atmosphere. It’s comforting to be surrounded by his family and pack members, even though I’m still adjusting to this new life.
Sienna is the first to break the silence at our table, her curious eyes lighting up as she turns to me. “So, Nicole, what was it like working in the pack hospital today?”
Before I can answer, Amelia leans in eagerly. “Yeah, I’ve always wondered, what’s it like treating werewolves? It must be so different from a human hospital, right?”
I smile, setting down my fork. “It’s very different from what I expected,” I begin. “And definitely different from a human hospital.”
