That was hell of a mission. I never expected na dalawang Pnadora’s box ang masasara namin. As of now, nakarating na kami sa school and we’re all sleepy pero dahil nakarating kami dito ng maaga, we are forced to attend our classes. Ngayon lang rin nalaman kung saang classroom kami. Fortunately, all four of us are in Elite Class. It made us happy pero syempre pagod kami kaya hindi kami masyadong nakapagcelebrate. The Principal rewarded us money at agad naman kaming pinaalis.

Sa totoo lang habang naglalakad ako palabas, pipikit na talaga ang gma mata ko.

“See you around,” Gin said at sabay silang umalis. Gin, Tempest, Argo, and Lor are in the same class kaya sabay silang naglakad palayo habang kaming apat naman ay papunta sa ibang direksiyon.

Hindi ko alam kung anong sasalubong sa amin doon pero whatever it is, sana lang ay hindi nakaka-bad trip kasi wala kaming lahat sa mood. Out of four of us, Nieve is the scariest. Kitang-kita talaga sa mukha niya na pagod siya. His appearance is not messy but his eyes are cold. Pati nga si Kali medyo nag-aalinlangan na tumingin sa kanya. Kali glanced at me and he signalled me to stop staring at Nieve kaya tumigil ako. He suddenly walked beside me kaya napatingin ako sa kanya.

“Nieve is in a bad mood,” Kali whispered. “When he’s in a bad mood, he’s-” putol niyang sabi nang biglang tumabi si Nieve sa amin habang hawak ang likorang collar ni Kali. He was smiling brightly but it was hella scary!

“May I join?” Nieve asked and Kali went pale. I chuckled at naunang naglakad para tabihan si Kailani. Bahala na silang dalawa doon, wala akong kinalaman sa mga pinagsasabi ni Kali.

Nakarating kami sa room namin after ilang minuto. Agad naman binuksan ni Kailani ang pinto at napatigil silang lahat nang makita kami. Wala namang teacher but they were all talking and doing other stuff. Tumigil rin kami saglit and they all stood up and bowed. Oh, I forgot, Kali and Kailani’s with us kaya naman pala.

Pumasok kaming apat at umupo sa likorang bahagi. The moment we sat down, doon palang bumalik sa pagtayo ang mga kaklase namin. The room is still silent though, naging awkward ba pagdating namin? We didn’t really bother talking or what kasi inaantok kami. I was about to lay my head on my table nang biglang may papel na tumama sa ulo ni Nieve. Agad kaming napatingin kay Nieve at ang bolang papel na nasa mesa niya. Oh no.

Agad namang hinablot ni Kailani ang bolang papel at ipapasa niya sana sa akin kaso napatigil siya nang tumingin si Nieve sa kanya.

“Give it back, Your Highness,” he said coldly at umiling si Kali.

“H-H-Hindi iyon sindaya, d-d-diba?” tanong ni Kali sa taong nagmamay-ari ng papel.

“H-H-Hindi po, s-s-sa ibang kaklase po t-talaga dapat iyan,” sagot naman ng kaklase namin.

“I said give it back,” Nieve said coldly at napalunok na si Kali. “Should I count one to three?” Nieve asked and he tilted his head which is very creepy. “Kali,” he added at I swear to God, tumayo lahat ng balahibo ko. The honorifics are gone which means, he is really really really angry. 

Kali slowly handed the ball paper to Nieve and Nieve took it with a bright smile. He glanced at our classmate na may gawa ng papel na iyon.

“So,” he said habang hawak ang papel and he pressed his fingers on it kaya mas lumiit ang papel. “Do it again and I will surely annihilate your clan,” he added and he flicked his thumb- the ball paper flew away at dumeritso ito sa board. The paper pierced into the board causing c***k to it. Napatingin kami sa kaklase namin and there was blood in his face at isang maliit na gasgas. Ah, there is no way I’ll pissed off Nieve.

“I-I-I’m sorry,” our classmate said and he bowed down. Hindi kami umimik tatlo nang tumingin si Nieve sa amin. We really looked away lalo na si Kali.

Napatigil na lang kaming lahat nang bumukas ang pinto. It was our professor at nagulat siya na may nakita siyang papel sa board. Oh please wag sanang magalit kasi delikado. I glanced at Nieve and his table started freezing. He must be really tired and sleepy.

Our professor took the ball paper from the board at napatingin sa buong klase.

“Who did this?” he asked at napalunok ako. The whole class glanced at Nieve pero kaming tatlo ay umiwas ng tingin. “Please don’t do such thing next time, Nieve,” he said and he kept the paper. “The board is now broken kaya huwag mo na ulitin,” he added.

“Prince Kali will pay for it,” biglang sabi ni Nieve at doon na kami napatingin sa kanya.

“I-I-I will?” Kali asked.

“You won’t?” Nieve asked with a smile and Kali froze.

“Y-Yes, I will,” Kali replied with a nervous smile.

I pity you Kali.

The class ended after a couple of hours. Basic lang naman ang tinuro sa amin. How ranks of demons differ and if there are instances na iiba ito. Our professor also taught us how to deal with lower rank demons since they are classified into many. May ibang demon na ang weakness ay mata or even heart. Usually, lower rank demons needs to be decapitated para hindi na sila mabuhay muli but some demons has it’s source talaga at dapat iyon sirain, kagaya lang nang demon na nakalaban namin recently.

Our professor also explained that we do not only take theory classes but we will be participating on a mission. He even mentioned us four who just got our first mission and how it was done. I never knew na may video pala sila sa lahat nang nangyari. He explained that our school has this nanomachines that are inserted on small bugs para kunan ng video every mission. This is also for emergency purposes. Pinakita niya ito sa buong class, kabilang na ang pakikipaglaban ko ng mag-isa sa A Class Demon. It was nerve wracking to watch and I can’t believe I saw myself being beaten up. Hindi lang iyon, it was really awesome nang biglang lumitaw si Kailani sa harap ng demon and his kick decapitated the demon. The class were amazed by it, even me who saw it all? It was amazing.

Our professor also showed how we saved the second city that has been attacked. Doon ko lang nakita kung gaano kagaling makipaglaban si Argo at Lor. Lor was very flexible. Sa totoo lang he was like doing ballet as he was fighting. Argo on the other hand was fast and strong. One punch is enough to kill one lower rank demon and he was fighting on the top of the barriers while the people were escaping. Pinakita din doon ang pagpatay ni Nieve sa mga apoy while Kali was rescuing people from their burning houses. Well, syempre nandoon rin ang labanan namin sa demon and it was very satisfying to watch.

“I can’t believe they have adapted to Prince Gin’s orders already,” rinig kong sabi ng isa naming kaklase na ansa harap namin.

“I don’t think I can fight demons like that if I was there,” another one replied.

And just like that, our whole class praised us. Before the class ended, our professor emphasized something and that is about the main goal of this school. The first goal is to close the Pandora’s Box, the second one, to find the Spirit Martial, and lastly is to destroy the key of the Pandora’s Box. If the key will be destroyed, kahit isang Pandora’s Box, hindi na talaga bubukas.

Our professor went out after that lengthy discussion. Of course, nang makalabas siya- the room was filled with silence once again. The bell rang and that indicates lunch time already kaya tumayo si Nieve. Tumayo rin agad kami at sinundan siya palabas.

“I’m hungry, sleepy and pissed off. Stop following me.” bigla niyang sabi at napatigil kaming tatlo sa harapan ng buong klase. The whole class was also stunned kaya sila mismo napatigil rin.

“N-Nieve, we’ll go grab lunch together,” Kali said.

“C-Chill, we’re in one team,” sabi ko at tumingin siya sa amin at umatras kaming tatlo.

“Nieve, come on.” Kailani said and tapped his shoulder with a bright smile. “Para namang hindi talaga tayo magkasabay,” he added at kumunot ang noo ni Nieve.

“H-H-How about we’ll go home and sleep?” Kali asked and Nieve glanced at him.

“Ganon ba? Pwes tara na,” he said and he went outside the room at isinara ang pinto. Nieve is scary.

Agad kaming lumabas at sinundan si Nieve. We were about to go and ask permission na uuwi kami kasi nga pagod na kami kaso sinalubong kami ni Gin at Tempest.

“We were looking for you guys,” Tempest said. Looking for us? Why? Dahil ba sa ginawa ni Nieve kanina? Lahat ba kami mapaparusahan?

“The office told us that we should go home and rest. Bukas na tayo papasok ulit. We still have to gain our magic molecules once again,” Gin said at napatango ako. Thank God, I thought we'll be punished.

“Really?” Nieve asked with a smile and Tempest nodded. “Let’s go!” he said cheerfully and the three of us frowned. Duality at its finest. Nakakatakot.

Syempre sumakay kami sa carriage para umuwi. This time, hindi kami papunta sa palasyo kungh hindi sa mansion ni Kailani but we are still using Kali's carriage that he have provided for us though. It’s been a week since I’ve been to Kailani's mansion, namiss ko rin ang lugar na iyon kahit papaano. It took us a couple of minutes to get there at binati kaagad kami ng mga maids at butler. They were happy to see us at halatang masaya rin si Kailani na nakita na nila sila muli.

After that greetings, naglakad kami papasok para magpahinga. I think I can sleep the whole day dahil sa pagod ko. I fought and healed so this is normal. Tumigil ako sa room ko at tumigil rin si Kailani. He’s room is three doors away from mine so it was unlikely for him to stop here.

“Do you wanna sleep with me?” he suddenly asked and it caught me off-guard.

“Are you crazy?” tanong ko ang he laughed.

“As if walang nangyari sa atin,” he said with a smile at kumunot ang noo ko.

“Shut up! I’ll go sleep on my own,” sabi ko at papasok na sana ako kasi pinigilan niya ako.

“Why can’t you sleep with me?” he asked.

“Kailani,” I called. “Aalis ka sa pintoan ko o babalik ako sa isla?” I asked at agad naman siyang lumayo sa pintoan ko. “Wise choice,” sabi ko at binuksan ang pinto ako. Iglanced back at him as he was seeing me off.

“Pahinga ka ng maayos,” he said and I nodded.

“Back at you, Kailani,” sabi ko.

My eyes widened when he suddenly grabbed my collar at napabitaw ako sa pinto. Not only did our lips met, but our eyes as well. Why are you looking at me like that? His tongue slid inside my mouth at napahawak ako sa shoulder niya. Bumitaw kami sa halik and he smiled.

“Sleepwell, Cygnus,” he said at ramdam ko ang pamumula ng mukha ko. Why did he do that? Was it necessary?!

“Sleepwell, Kailani,” I replied and I closed my door.

Sumandal ako sa pinto at napahawak ako sa dibdib ako.

Why is my heart beating like this? Please don’t tell me I’m really in love with him?
