Attack on Luna night.

1000 Words
Dravon's POV. "No. I will take care of that myself. She must have consumed something poisonous." I leaned her whole body on my back. Ceremony chaos faded, silence broke. The moon night came to a halt. "I will assist myself, my maids will help me." Seraphina said, pinning her fingers to her forehead. Fidgeting. She slumped in my hands. Valdrakon healer comes close to examine her. He palpated her pulse, his expression twisted to a long face. "She is burning up. Under the skin she is burning." The healer said, keeping a glance at me. "Dravon. It's our ceremony. Are you leaving just because you want to help her to her Chambers." Cyrene tightened her hands on Sera. "Leave her to the maids they will handle it. I am your luna." Her voice shaky tears in her eyes. "Cyrene you are already recognized as Luna. We can't risk Sera's life." I exited her sight. The soldiers followed me. Kael kept a strange glance at me. I looked the other way. Sera vomited right on my robe. I didn't feel irritated. I found myself asking why I drift to Sera and not Cyrene. As I ran with her, my heart raced in excitement. Suddenly I got excited, sighting her, around her or having anything to do with her. Probably it's the mate bond or poisoned wine. Our footsteps vibrated on the floors of the servants passage. Servants parted left and right. Glued to the wall. Looking at their feet paying respect. "Her quarters are right beside the maids room." Kael pointed. "I can take her anywhere I wish to." I rushed her to Valdrakon's chambers. Swiftly I laid her on the bed. I loosened her straps. Opening her robe. The healer brought herbs and some medications to rest her. "If you please, my Lord." He requested to treat Sera. "Hand me the bowl of herbs I will do all the treatment." I snatched the bowl, a drop spilled on Sera's cheeks. I lifted her head, placed it on my thigh. Slowly I fed the herbs to her. I caressed my fingers in her hair, her hair became sweaty. I used my royal handkerchief to wipe her forehead. Cyrene trudged in, the door clamped. Her face angry and pale. "Dravon.. are you aware of the embarrassment and disgrace you washed over me?" She ranted about my actions. "Lady Cyrene. I am about coming to the ceremony. I had to attend to Sera in an emergency." I cupped Sera's face looking at her. "Get your hands off her. Everything that belongs to you is mine. Besides, why is her head resting on your lap. Someone you ought to have executed." She wrenched my hand off her. "Can you pull yourself together Luna? It's a bare touch and attention." I lowered her head into the pillow, her head sinking into the fabric as I pulled my hand away. I straightened my cracking legs, my body upright. "Sera will be resting while I will be at the gathering with you." I held her both hands. "Bastard." Her palm flew through the air and struck across my cheeks. The thunderclap called everyone's attention in the room. She twisted on her heel and walked out of my sight. A slap like thunder? When last did I receive a hit? Did Cyrene just slap me? She left without a sorry. No one has ever dared to challenge not to talk of hitting me straight in the face in presence of people. I went after her. I tugged her hands, and drew her closer to me. "Look at me lady Cyrene. Don't you ever do that again, or I will remind you who I am." I pushed her off and left. "Ehhhh!" The audience screamed as they saw my entrance. They rose to their feet waving pieces of white cloth. Cyrene came along. The drum beat for the fourth time. It's time I crown the Luna. The priest walked further to my side and handed the crown. I took it respectfully. I raised it high above my head for the whole crowd to see. "I hereby crown you as my Luna." I placed the crown on her head. A spark ignited on one of the diamonds. Some cheered, a cheerful expression mixed with confusion. Cyrene felt a wave of relief over her nerves. She lowered her body to pay respect and receive the crown. "Your turn our Luna." The priest handed my crown to her. "I hereby accept Dravon, king of Valdrakon. My one and only Alpha. I accept to be your Luna, taking you as my alpha." She crowned me. Despite all cheers and celebration, I was not happy. Something felt off. My instincts whispered danger, the air became thick and heavy. Cold air whispered signs of the ancient sentinels. Suddenly an arrow was shot at the throne. With a letter patched along. Someone trying to pass a message. I walked over to remove the arrow. I uprooted it, and unfolded the letter. It read. "Wow Valdrakon! Watch out for a spy! You have been fooled and manipulated. So fast you forgot who you are and followed your enemies. One wrong action or move can make you a throne less alpha." My mind circulated towards Austin. Who dared to do this? Seems like my nightmare is coming to pass. All soldiers tugged their swords from their sheaths and pointed towards the gate. Werewolves invaded our space. The gates fell, outside was raided. The walls were climbed. My soldiers were attacked. Attackers from behind, they weren't much but seemed stronger. Tonight is a battle field. Servants screamed from behind. Cyrene shot an arrow, protecting me. "Dravon." She pushed me aside. Kael resisted a sword attack against me. They fought back and forth. He leapt downwards and thrusted a sword in his chest. Blood seeped out, washing down to my side. Seraphina was blindfolded, walked out of my chambers. It amazes me how they had access to my chambers. ---
