Plan to Avoid Classes

Author’s Note: I didn’t update yesterday because I decided to update once every two days so that I can do my modules.

We arrived back at zone 3 at 10:00 pm and bid farewell as we separate ways because we lived in different neighborhoods. I decided to walk instead of riding in going to my apartment so that I can think about things. ‘Is this really right to involve them into fighting the Conquerors? What if in this timeline there will be no Conquerors? What if I am just overthinking things? If there is really no Conquerors then will my friends come to think that I am crazy?’ I have so many doubts in my mind that made me worry if I did the right decision. After a few minutes of thinking I noticed that there is someone following me so I decided to look back and saw Deiru. “Deiru why are you following me?” I asked. “Have you forgotten that we lived in the same neighborhood?” He answered then chuckled. “Ahhh right I forgot, I’m sorry it just that my mind is full of things at this moment” I answered. “Things like questioning your decision and things like maybe you are wrong?” Deiru said. I stopped walking and looked at Deiru with an expression ‘how did you know?’. “Chris I have known you for a long time, I already know how your mind works not just me but all of us because we are your friends” He said. I can’t help but think that he is right we have been friends for so long that we already know how each others mind works. “I know that you questioned yourself if there are really Conquerors, if there is really none then that is something to be happy about and even if there really are then we will fight them as a team” He said. “If there is really none, will all of you think that I am crazy?” I asked. “Truthfully the first time I heard you say about Conquerors and stuffs I thought you’re crazy” He said. I didn’t speak a word and let him to continue. “But knowing you Chris, you are someone who doesn’t spout nonsense without evidences or suspicions, that is why I- no, we believe in you” He continued. I couldn’t say a word but I spoke in my mind that I am very thankful of having friends that trust in me so much. We didn’t talk anymore and continued walking when we are already at front of Deiru’s house. “Thank you” I said quickly. “You’re welcome and don’t mind it because what are friends for and always remember we got each other’s back” He said. When he said that we got each other’s back I remembered the time when we are taking back our zone. It is truly a hard battle and I almost got hit by a Conqueror thankfully Deiru killed the Conqueror before it hit me. Remembering the past made me think that he is right we always got each other’s back. “Then make sure you watch my back properly” I said jokingly. “Of course and you also make sure to watch my back properly” He replied then went his house. Thankfully what Deiru said clears up the doubts I have in my mind so I continued walking. ‘I didn’t made the wrong decision it is our responsibility as friends to have each other’s back’ I thought then rushed towards my apartment. The night went by and we all meet again at school. Free time at the cafeteria, “Do we still need to attend classes? After all anytime soon the Conquerors will arrive and the classes will stop” Atsu said. “If you think about it Atsu is right” Harry added. “You two, you just don’t want to attend classes, you two are just covering your laziness with the reason that the Conquerors will arrive” Kirth lectured them. “There is still two weeks before the Conquerors arrive so if we don’t attend school at that time we will be suspected of doing something and the teachers will have their eyes on us and that will limit our movements” Deiru said. “Deiru is right but you two are also right that we don’t need to attend classes” I said. “Then we will not attend our classes?” Harry and Atsu said while their eyes lit up. “Yes but we will not just directly not attend our classes” I answered. “What do you mean?” Kirth asked. “We will make the teachers be the one to make us not attend our classes for two weeks” I answered. “Suspension” Deiru muttered. “What!? We will make ourselves suspended?” Melward said. “Yes” I replied shortly. “No no no no way I’m doing that, that will cause our grades to fall down so much and unlike most of you my grades barely just passed” Melward said. We looked at each other with a confused look. “Melward, are you really listening when Chris explained about the Conquerors’ arrival?” Atsu sarcastically said. “We don’t need to attend classes anymore because after two weeks they will arrive and after all classes will basically stop, so it is okay” Harry said. Melward still wants to refuse but he can’t anymore because it is already been decided. After discussing what we will do, we executed it properly. When the teachers saw us fighting each other at the school ground they stopped us and brought us to the Deans’ Office. “So why are you fighting?” The Dean asked. Just like what we discussed we answered while blaming one another and that caused chaos at the Deans’ Office. We continued arguing for an hour and that is why we were dismissed and suspended by the Dean for two weeks just as planned. After all what happened we meet at the secret place and talk. “Sighs* I thought that we will not achieved our goal but thankfully we have” Atsu said. “If we haven’t achieved our goal I will surely complain because it is not easy to get punched in the face” Harry said. “Laughs* didn’t you really want to not attend classes?” Deiru said. “The price to pay is really not light huh?” Melward said. “At the very least we still have achieved our goal, now that we don’t need to attend classes anymore I will tell you more about Conquerors at my house tomorrow” I said. After that we decided to go home to treat our bruises made from fighting.
