HE’S MINE.

The next day, David woke up at Lucy’s house, in her bed. He turned over to find Lucy next to him on her back fast asleep. He cuddled into her tight, and placed his head on her shoulder. After a while, Lucy started to fidget, and she woke up to find David cuddling into her. Lucy said, “morning, how are you feeling?” David looked her in the eye, and Lucy could see the shear sadness. David replied, “gutted, i’ve lost my best friend, his girls who were like my nieces, and now Louise who Mark and me would get along with really well, she was such a sweet girl, her life was so ahead of her”. David stopped before he started to cry again. He sat up and sat on the edge of the bed. Deep in thought for but a moment, he muttered to Lucy, “thank you”. Lucy didn’t quite hear what he said, so she asked, “pardon”? David turned and faced Lucy while she still laid there, with her head on the pillow, and the duvet covering her. David continued, “i want to thank you, for all your support, over the last couple of days you have been my rock. We’ve only been together for nearly a week, but already i feel like i’ve known you all my life”. Lucy smiled like the Cheshire cat, and was taken back by what David had said. Lucy held her arms out and told David, “come here”. David crawled over to Lucy, and he laid down in her arms, he then placed his head on her shoulder. The depressed David lay thinking of how he could of helped Mark. He couldn’t get out of his head how he could of been there for his best friend. All the while, David is still unaware that Lucy is the culprit for all the deaths. Lucy and David lay for a while just cuddling each other, before Lucy told David, “i need to get up, and get to work”. So David stood up and started to get some clothes on. However Lucy asked, “can you pass me my bra on the radiator please”? David took the bra from the radiator, and threw it over to Lucy, while she was still lying in the bed, covered over with the duvet. Lucy sat up and started to put on her bra. Once she had put on her bra, She swung her legs out from under the duvet, and stood up. She walked around the bed in her bra and knickers, while David stood in his shirt and pants. Lucy and David looked at each other lustfully, as Lucy picked out her skirt and tights, from her chest of drawers. David bent down to put his trousers on, and he noticed the bite on Lucy’s right foot, from when she turned Rachel into a mouse. David asked, “what have you done to your foot”? Lucy looked down and was caught out unaware, like she had forgotten about the bite, that Rachel the mouse, had given her when she tried to escape Lucy’s power, before Lucy turned Rachel into ash. David told Lucy, “you need to put a plaster on that”. Concerned it would get infected, David asked, “have you got any disinfectant or anything like that, so i can clean it up for you and put a plaster on it?” Lucy replied with a smile on her face, “if you must, down in the kitchen above the kettle, on the left hand side, there’s plasters and germ cream”. David hopped to it, and left the room to collect the items. Lucy sat waiting on the bed, thinking about, how hers and David’s life, should, now be a clear smooth ride. David returned with the plaster and cream, and he sat on the bed, tapping his leg, inviting her to put her foot on his lap, so he could begin the treatment. With the cream applied and the plaster on, David told her, “there you go, all sorted.” Lucy put her foot down, and then started to put her tights on. As David put his socks on, Lucy asked him, “what’s your plan today”? David answered in thought, “i need to get into work, i’ve got lots of stuff to sort out”. Lucy approved and told him “just be careful”. David smiled as he continued to get his shoes on. Lucy asked “did you want to meet up and have some lunch”? David looked up at her, and smiled, “that sounds like a plan”, he acknowledged. Lucy and David left for work, they gave each other a kiss good bye, before going their separate ways. David arrived at the dealership and started to unlock the main door to the business. When David opened everything up, the staff slowly arrived, one by one, for another day at work. David put his bag down by his desk, and went out onto the forecourt, to call all members of staff to the office. As all the members walked into the office, he closed the office door, and went over to sit at his desk. David made the decision, that this was the time the staff needed to know, about what has happened to their manager Mark. David started the lecture, “you all may have heard on the news about the bodies being found in a house, near here yesterday”. David paused for a moment before announcing, “well, the victim was Mark. Mark’s body was found along side his 3 daughters in his living room”. As David looked around the office at all the shocked faces of the staff, he informed them, “currently the scene is under investigation, so when i find out any information, then i will pass it on, if i am allowed too”. One of the employees discussed with another, “it was a day of disaster yesterday, did you see on the news about that air ambulance crashing at the hospital?” David explained further, “unfortunately the girl that found Marks body, had a car crash, and she was the one that was in that air ambulance at the time”. Even more shocked then before, the team were in total disbelief. A member asked David from the back of the gang, “do you think it was linked”. The thought had never occurred to David. But he realised the member had a good point. But he tried to divert the conversation, and told everyone, “that’s it guys you need to get back to work, thank you”. The staff left the office to start the daily duties. Meanwhile David sat thinking about, how these incidences could actually be linked somehow. But he decided that he was being silly, and carried on with his paperwork. David sat at his desk, and logged on to his computer. As he waited for the computer to load up, he sat staring at the desk, that once belonged to Mark, and thinking about his last moments he had with Mark. After a while the computer finally loaded, and he started to work through his emails and documents, when suddenly there was a knock on the door. David looked around his computer screen, to see a short chunky woman, with dark red dyed hair. He recognised the woman fondly. The lady was Marks younger sister Mary. David jumped up and opened the door to let her in. David asked in shock, “what are you doing here”? Mary cried, “well we’ve got some bits to sort out, the police need to talk to us, and i need to sort the funerals for them all”. David asked, “did you hear about Tom and Margret’s daughter, Louise”? Confused Mary asked, “what’s happened to Louise”? David explained “she was involved in a car crash, but died in a helicopter crash, the air ambulance came down over the hospital, when they tried to transfer her”. Mary was shocked and distraught by this news and gave a huge hug. As the pair squeezed each other tightly, David realised Lucy was stood outside the office door watching him through the glass. David pushed Mary away and rushed to the office door, and exclaimed, “Lucy, this is Mary, Marks sister. Mary this is Lucy, my girlfriend”. Lucy had suspicions that she couldn’t shake, about Mary. While an evident streak of jealousy came from the look on Mary’s face. But they both shook hands in fake happiness of the greeting. They both acknowledged each other by saying “it’s nice to meet you.” With the biggest fake smile ever known to man, the girls wanted to get along for David’s sake, although they were both jealous of each other. David was clueless to the situation, so he sprung on an idea to Mary, “why don’t you join Lucy and I for lunch?” Mary was overjoyed and accepted his offer with huge grace, whereas, Lucy was furious, but tried so desperately to hide her angered feelings. As the 3 entered the restaurant, Mary barged her way past Lucy, this action infuriated her so, but she managed to keep her cool. The waiter took the 3 to their table, as they all took their seats, Mary asked the waiter, “can i have a glass of red wine please”? David and Mary reminisced on the good old days. However Lucy felt like the lost sheep, left out of a game the others were playing. Lucy sat watching while David and Mary shared their memories. But, the atmosphere soon started to change, when Mary started to boast about the days, when David and Mary used to date. Lucy started to seek her revenge and waited for her moment. Mary asked Lucy, “so, Lucy spill the beans, does he nibble, and whisper sweet nothings into your ear”? Annoyed, Lucy pulled a fake smile, she looked at David and replied “no, he doesn’t”. Embarrassed and noticing that Lucy was not happy, he desperately tried to change the subject, by asking Mary, “how’s your husband”? Trying to remember his name he asked “was it James”? Mary told David, “we split up about a year ago”. Sorrowful David asked, “oh no, what happened”? Mary joked, “he wasn’t you darling”. Disapproving Lucy was now more angered then ever. As Mary took a swig of her glass of red wine, Lucy flicked her hand discreetly, and she used her magic powers, to make Mary spill her red wine down over her face, and down her white top. Mary jumped up, but as she jumped, her glass shot across the table and smashed onto another seat, David asked “are you ok?” Mary replied “yeah, i’m fine, i’m just going to go and clean myself up”. As Mary walked away from the table, Lucy and David giggled, David asked Lucy, “are you ok”? Lucy smiled, and with truth she told David, “she’s quite annoying”. David laughed and replied, “she can be, but she’s got a heart of gold”. Lucy didn’t agree in reality, but covered her feelings over for David. It was now time that Lucy and David started heading back to work, so David waved down a waiter and asked for the bill. Lucy asked Mary, “where have you got to go now”? Mary told Lucy “i need to make arrangements with the police as to when they will be likely to release the bodies”. Lucy remained suspicious of Mary and really did not trust her. David kissed Mary on the cheek, and him and Lucy started to make their way out of the restaurant. David told Lucy, “i need to get back, but did you want to stay around mine tonight”? Lucy grinned and replied with relaxation, “that would be nice”. Glad Lucy accepted the offer, David ran off down the road towards the dealership to crack on, while Lucy walked around the corner towards her offices. Meanwhile Mary decided that she was going to try and win David over and steal him off of Lucy. So she sat at the restaurant bar with drink in hand, deep in thought on how she could do it. Later on that day, Lucy was working hard at trying to find herself a replacement for Rachel. Who Lucy decided to turn into a mouse out of frustration, and then burn into a ball of ash in complete and utter anger. But in all the time Lucy was working through applications, she still couldn’t get her mind off of Mary, and how Mary annoyed her that lunch time. In a secret bid to protect David and her relationship, she went and locked her office door and pulled the blinds. She made her way to her drinks cabinet. She opened the cupboard door, she waved her hand and chanted an incantation, which revealed all her witch craft tools and materials. Lucy gathered a glass ball, an old very worn and dusty spell book, she gathered a variety of herbs, thyme, rosemary, mint and tea leaves, and finally she picked up four candles. Lucy placed the ball in the middle of the room, she placed the thyme at the north of the ball, a handful of rosemary at the east, the mint at the west, and the tea leaves were placed at the south of the ball. Lucy then placed behind each of the herbs, a tall candle. Lucy then began her enchantment as she went around lighting the candles one at a time, with matches. Lucy was setting up a spell that would allow her to see what Mary had in store for David and Lucy. With the spell in full motion, the glass ball lit the room like an LED light bulb. Lucy crouched and knelt down by the tea leaves, as the life from the herbs were flowing into the glass ball, Lucy could see what lies ahead for Mary. The ball showed that Mary was to take David into a room, and her and David were to make passionate love on the bed. But the prediction was so vague that Lucy doubted herself, and wondered, had she done the spell correctly. As the spell came to an end, Lucy was still none the wiser, nor was she prepared for what might lay ahead, but, she knew she could look out for signs and deal with it accordingly. Hoping that she can respond in a quick and skillful manor.
