A couple of weeks had past. The results for Marks autopsy were in, and had shown Mark had suffered a major heart attack. Unbeknown to everybody, other than Lucy of course, that it was Lucy, who was the one that used magic on Mark, that then made Mark have a major heart attack.
Unfortunately for Mark’s reputation, rumours started spreading that Mark had killed his daughters, by slitting their throats. And suffered the heart attack later on that same night.
But the devious, crafty, smart minded Lucy knew that things were a hole lot different.
As another few more weeks past, Mary kept annoying Lucy, but to no bad out comings. The day of Mark and the girls joint funeral was upon them. All the while Mary, unwittingly and slowly, was pissing off, a very dangerous, and a very powerful witch. But Lucy discreetly tried to warn Mary off, as she tried on numerous occasions, to win David over for herself.
Lucy had decided that it would be best, for the upcoming nights she would stay with David at his place, as a comfort for him in this dark and bleak time.
David sat on the edge of his bed with just his trousers and socks on, with his mind deep in thought. He things kept playing on David’s mind, such as, “what made Mark, go off the rails so quick and badly”?
As David sat with his head in the clouds, Lucy entered the room, in a tight black glittery dress, black tights, and black high heels. As she came into the room she noticed how far behind David was, and asked in frustration. “come on, for goodness sake, the cars will be here in a minute, what are you doing”? Lucy grabbed David’s white shirt, and started putting it on him, like a little child with his head stuck into the TV. But only this was not a child, that can’t drag himself away from a television set. This was a man who suddenly had a scary thought rush into his head.
As Lucy done up David’s shirt button’s, he asked her, “Mark went down hill quick, don’t you think”? Lucy responded innocently, “well, yes he did i suppose”. David dared to asked further into his sudden suspicion, “why would Mark have told me you attacked him”? Lucy shrugged her shoulders and answered, “it beat’s me”. David remembered something Mark told him out of fear, and desperation. So he continued to ask, “he said you attacked him and the girls with magic powers, where would he have got that from”?
Lucy placed David’s jacket over him and asked, “i hope you don’t suspect me”? David looked her into the eyes, and come to his senses, and sat back on the bed, and put his face into his hands.
Lucy comforted him while David apologized and explained, “i’m all over the place at the minute. I’m just trying to make some sense of the situation”. David cried “Mark wouldn’t have done anything to harm his girls, i’m sure of it”.
As David cried, there was a sudden beep from a car horn. Lucy stood up and went to the window and announced, “the cars are here”. David pulled himself together and prepared to make his way to the funeral cortege.
Lucy straightened David’s tie and gave him a kiss and a hug. They both walked out of the bedroom and down to the front door, and made their way over to the funeral cars. As they approached the first car, Lucy noticed Mary was in the car. So she desperately and quickly raced over to David and diverted him over to the second car, away from Mary.
Mary sat watching in envy, as Lucy guided David to the car behind. The jealous Mary became very jealous indeed.
As the funeral cars followed the four hearses down the road, Lucy asked David, “can you stay with me”? David looked at her and grinned, while Lucy continued, “well. Obviously i don’t know anyone, please stay by my side”. David’s smile grew, as he replied, “i’ll try”. Giving her a peck on the cheek.
A few hours later, over at the grave yard, the funeral of Mark and his 3 daughters had just finished, and they had committed the four bodies to the ground. David and Lucy followed the many mourners back down to the cars, as they were driven off to Mary’s house for the wake.
Lucy became very uncomfortable when she found out that the wake was being held at Mary’s house. But David was adamant that he wanted to attend, in celebration of the life, all be it short life, of his best friend and the girls he grew to regard as his nieces.
As they pulled up outside Mary’s house, Mary was stood at the end of the garden path, awaiting for the arrival of David’s car.
David opened the door, and Mary went straight to him, she linked arms with him, and pulled him away from the car, leaving Lucy behind. Frustrated Lucy couldn’t get out of the car quick enough. She thanked the driver on behalf of her and David, but unbeknown to David, Lucy was stuck way back.
Lucy became angered by the experience, but desperately tried to contain her anger. As Lucy ran to catch Mary and David up, she tripped and fell to the floor. Grazing her knee on the concrete path, laddering her tights and breaking one of her high heels.
David realised that Lucy wasn’t behind him, and noticed she was on the floor at the bottom of the path. David ran back with haste, to her aid.
David helped Lucy up onto her feet, and held onto her as he helped her into the house. “have you broken your heeled shoes”? David asked. Lucy answered through gritted teeth, “yes”. Rubbing her knee, she told him, “i haven’t got any shoes now. I’m going to have to walk around with no shoes on”. Annoyingly Mary over heard their conversation and asked with a cocky expression, “would you like to borrow some of mine darling”?
Lucy tried to play a friendly game and accepted her offer. Mary took Lucy up to her bedroom to show Lucy some of her heeled shoes. Lucy asked “i’m size 5”. Mary gladly told her, “well i’m size 6 so you might find ones that fit snug”. Lucy smiled a fake smile, as Mary led her up the stairs towards her Bedroom.
Mary opened the door and let Lucy in first. Mary told Lucy, “i have a hole selection here, take whatever ones you like, i need to go back down with the guests”. Lucy smiled a real smile this time, and said, “thank you”.
As Mary walked out of the bedroom, unbeknown to Lucy, Mary had a lock on the outside of the bedroom door, and quietly locked Lucy in the bedroom, so she could have a crack at winning David over, without Lucy getting in the way.
Seizing her opportunity, Mary ran downstairs and found David. Meanwhile Lucy was upstairs trying on different shoes, but to her disappointment, none of them would fit, but she continued to work through them one by one.
Down in the living room, Mary had just found David, and joined in his conversation with some of the other guests. David asked Mary, “is Lucy ok? Where is she”? Mary told him “she’s fine”. David was worried because he had promised that he would not leave her side. David asked Mary, “i need to be with her really, i told her i would stay with her”. Mary responded by saying, “she’s upstairs, i’ll take you too her”, luring David up the stairs to the other bedroom.
Defeated by the shoes that don’t fit, Lucy tried to find shoes amongst the many, that would fit, but to no such luck she decided to give in and just walk around with no shoes on, and decided that her tights would protect her feet.
Lucy stood up from the bed and made her way to the bedroom door, but, as she turned the handle the door didn’t open. She pulled harder again, when suddenly the shock of realisation popped into Lucy’s head, that she had been tricked.
Lucy decided to give up on the natural way, and went for a supernatural approach, and used her magic to unlock the door instead. Lucy opened the door and ran down the stairs, she looked around in anger, barging her way through the wake guests, but couldn’t see David or Mary anywhere.
Lucy interrupted one of the groups of guests and asked, “have you seen Mary”? The guest told her, “yeah, she went upstairs with some bloke”. Furious Lucy ran back up the stairs. Meanwhile David stood in the second bedroom, under the impression he was waiting for Lucy to walk out of the walk in wardrobe. Mary closed and locked the bedroom door, again unbeknown to David.
Mary forced herself onto David. David tried to resist as she threw him onto the bed. But David stood back up, telling her, “ you need to stop this”. As he pushed her away Mary became more and more determined to get what she wanted, grabbed David’s head and snogged his face off.
Just then the bedroom door burst open with a mini explosion, both David and Mary were startled by the loud noise. As the smoke cleared, Mary seen Lucy stood in the doorway, and gave her an irritating smile. Meanwhile, David on the other hand, was very worried that this would be the end of his relationship with Lucy.
But before he could mutter a word, the very angry Lucy, flung her hands into the air, which made David and Mary float up to the ceiling. Lucy then opened her arms wide, and sent David and Mary flying away from each other, to either side of the room. Then finally, Lucy clapped her hands together, this then made David and Mary, come screaming towards one another, sending them crashing into each other with such force, that they both knocked each other out. Lucy then dropped her hands quick, and made the pair slam to the bedroom floor, with a huge crash and thump.
With the pair knocked out on the bedroom floor, Lucy went out and controlled the minds of the wake guests, and told them collectively, to make their way home.
As all the guests made their way out the door, Lucy went and sat on the bed, with her feet up playing on her phone. Waiting patiently, for David and Mary to awaken, and accept their punishment, for deceiving Lucy.
