Consequence

The year is 1865. The Civil War has splintered the United States and though the war has ended, its people are more divided than ever. Underneath the fear and hate lies a far darker evil, one that has yet to reveal itself to the world but lives among us in secret. A merciless race of undead vampires hides in the shadows of the world, with only a handful of humans aware of their existence. But when a dangerous vampire outlaw named Damian Harlow murders the wife and son of a Union soldier and kidnaps his baby daughter, the world beneath finally threatens to clash with the one above. The soldier is Carter Nash, a ruthless butcher hellbent on vengeance who spends the next eleven years slaughtering every vampire he can find and searching for the outlaw Harlow, losing his humanity and becoming an outlaw himself as the marshals dub him "The Wild Butcher of the West." Carter's journey leads him to a brutal, unforgiving mining town in Nevada called Consequence, where he must evade the forces of darkness and the lawmen of the West to find his daughter and kill the bloodsuckers who took everything from him.
