At a distance, I observed how father and his assistant rushed into the company with trembling hands. It seemed that something was wrong and I could feel it. I never imagined to see my father here, at least, not like this. His assistant ran to the reception hall and unfortunately for him, Roselle wasn't on seat as usual. I growled in frustration at her audacity and laziness towards her job.
How can she treat my father like that? I dialed on my cell phone and Jones connected the call but it wasn't long before he arrived and attended to father. The other employees respected my father and made way for him. Of course he is the vice mayor and deserves that much respect.
