My chest knotted and everything around me seemed to freeze at the sight of that monster. I can't say he isn't good-looking, but when I flash back to how he offered me money like I was some tramp, I feel bitterness in my throat, yet his mesmerizing gaze struck the depth of my heart, and it felt suffocating around him.
His eyes accidentally locked on mine and my heart raced like they were beaten.
