De Nicola didn’t even wait for Desideri to finish taking the oath and went straight to the attack.
‘Officer Desideri, would you please describe to us what you did on the evening of Dr Alvarado’s murder?’
Desideri took a deep breath and cleared his throat. He was very nervous, he wasn’t used to giving evidence in court.
