The poor Nyambagathi

In town down the hill was a beautiful village.Tourist came from all over the world to see it's natural beauty.The hills ,mountains, valleys,rivers and see .They all seemed to make a melodies song . Because of this animals comfortably danced and enjoyed the food there. One day just from blue ? moon came an airplane full of many people .Along them came the vehicles,tractors and more vehicles.The animals were scared and started running helta skelta to all directions.There were Soo scared and wondered what that noise was about ,was there a danger coming ?they feared for their lives.That day lions and zebras and other animals set their differences aside and they all looked for safety together. The people people wondered who had invited such huge crowd of visitors in their town .This had never happened again.The leader of the town welcome them as it was their custome to welcome visitors ,give them food,water and a place to stay before they would go back to their original home. Morning came the visitors were taken around the town to see it's beauty they were Soo much amazed to see the beautiful laying mountains ,hills, Valleys and sees and just wanted to stay all day staring at the town's beauty .some remained in the river fishing ,ignited the fire and made a delicious fish ."This must become our new home ",they said.They made a little hut and decided to make a little home in a forest.They ate fruits from the forest,went hunting and made that a routine of the day. One week later ,the leader of the town started wondering where part of the group had disappeared to and why they had not come back in the town with the rest.Mr omwami was his name the leader of this town.He called his army to go and search for the group that had disappeared.After 3 days of the search they saw a place that had been cleared ,the trees had been cut and some buildings were firmly standing showing the existence of people to be living there.Mr Omwami couldn't believe his eyes and the army as well this was the place that was meant to be left aside to conserve their towns beauty and protect nature.Now it's had been turned into a man's place for living which would scare the wild animals away."who gave them the permission to stay there" ,Mr omwami asked.",Dint they say they were just visitors? Wonders !Wonders!Shall never end .when Mr Omwami and his army arrived ,the visitors seemed not to care concerning their actions .They assumed Mr Omwami and continued with their activities.They said they were not ready to go back to their homes.They had just found what they were looking for .They had enough food ,shelter and had fresh environment.Are you mad?,Mr Omwami asked them .How do you invade someone's home and make your own rules without any authority?You have to go back to your homes. Two days later the visitors had fully occupied part of the town they had cat many trees,and animals started to lack a home to live in ,some were even cleared in the process of clearing the bush.Mr Omwami started wondering what was wrong and what he could do to change the situation.The town was loosing it's identity and was changing at a very high late.The animals were dying some got burnt through hunting and others killed through hunting.The gases sent on air would slowly start changing the atmosphere. Two months later the river started drying,the many fishes that used to be seen were no where to be seen.They had all died due to chemicals put in the rivers through industries activities.The water was no longer safe for drinking.who would now tell this people the harm they were doing and tell them to go back to where they had come from? Mr Omwami wondered. Back in town people started becoming sick,the food was also not enough the sun was also too much ,rainy seasons started changing.The tourist who used to visit the town every year and brought much income to the village stopped coming . Something... something has to be done.Mr Omwami sat down with the group of his army .They had to think of immediate solutions to rescue the town . At last they agreed to call armies from neighbouring towns inorder to share ideas and come up with a possible solution.The day was set .The coming Saturday they were going to meet in Mr Omwami's residents.Preparations began immediately on how to receive the armies from neighbouring towns. It was Saturday morning as the birds were singing their melodies songs .Mr Omwami's residential area was decorated with beautiful flowers all over and looked like there was a wedding party.The armies started arriving one by one and the area was full of army vehicles.The children couldn't stop staring at the vehicles they had never seen their city crowded with people and vehicles ever again in their lives.They even thought that they are in danger and couldn't stay distances away from their mothers. In a twinkle of a minute ,Mr Omwami stood to welcome his visitors and address the issue of needing to meet with them that urgently.'Good morning,I take this opportunity to welcome everyone of you for agreeing to respond to my request of coming to help me get rid of people who have forcely occupied my territories and are exploiting our natural environment leading to drought in our town.My request is that we work together as a team and through that will achieve our goal".They clapped for him after the speech and said they are ready to work as a team ad help him.They divided themselves into equal groups and went for the search of those strangers causing the damage in town. After one hour the armies had managed to arrest all those strangers and they were brought before Mr Omwami .He thanked the army so much for their cooperation.They now had to decide what they were going to do with the strangers since they couldn't be allowed to continue living in that town. The armies at last decided to transport them direct to their town where after that they were not allowed to ever come back in that town ever again.That was a brilliant idea .Mr Omwami was at last relieved because his problem was completely solved and his town would never experience the same calamity of drought again. The following week Mr Omwami called all the people in town.They had to set a day to start planting trees where they had been cut.This would ensure that the rivers that had dried would come back to life .The drought that had lasted for a long time would come to an end.They all clapped and thanked Mr Omwami for a good thought.And responded by saying they should do that the following day.Mr Omwami was Soo pleased for their quick response. Early in the morning the following day all people, women,men and children were all armed with the working tools and we're ready for the days activities.Mr Omwami brought the tree seedlings that he had prepared and distributed it among the people.They walked slowly towards the forest as they sang the songs of conserving the environment on the way.Women moved their waist according to the rhythm.Children cheered them and clapped with excitement.Within 30 minutes they were in the forest.Men started digging the holes women planted the seedlings and children watered the plants.Mr Omwami was Soo pleased to see his people working in peace and harmony.This made the work easier and faster.Who could have thought that the forest would go back to its normal status that fast?The animals that had started to disappear would finally find a conducive home and environment again.Everyone seemed to enjoy the work they were doing.No one seemed to get tired,nor hungry instead they laughed made jokes and were Soo full with energy. Chapter 2 Within no time the whole forest was occupied with trees .All the gaps had been cleared.Everyone now started watering the trees.They made a promise to take good care of the forest and the entire environment in their town to make sure their generation and generation to come would never suffer because of water ,food and environment related issues. They also promised to ensure that the animals in their forest get a conducive environment and all that it takes to ensure they are comfortable.This made Mr Omwami Soo excited he had good people in his town .This made his work easy to handle.He also promised them to be careful when receiving tourist and visitors from other countries and towns.He wouldn't agree again to be trapped like it had happened previously.They all nodded and told him that was a mistake and next time Mr Omwami would work with his army inorder to identify the right people coming to their town. Mr Omwami agreed to that and said they would set more rules to be followed by people coming to their town.He also said all the tourist who came to their town had to specify the exact reason for coming to their town.They also had to be specific on the days they were going to spend in his town.His people clapped.This was a good idea and they were now assured that their town would forever be safe.The sun had set and the dark had started feeling the forest .The day had ended Soo fast that they did not realized it.Everyone started packing their tools to prepare to now go back home.Mr Omwami ordered his army to bring enough vehicles so that everyone would be dropped home safely.In a blink of an eye the vehicles were there . People got in without wasting time.They were all dropped home safely. The following day the talk was all over the town's on how Mr Omwami had managed to restore his forest within one day . Media people came from all over to enquire how he had managed to do that within one day.Others asked how he had managed to get rid of the strangers that had forcely occupied his part of the town forest.He smiled then said 'All this was possible because of the team work among my people,when you work together,in peace and harmony you can achieve your goals Soo easily ".That day in all Tv channels it was broadcasted about Mr Omwami's town.He had been a Mayer of Kamweni town now for two years.His legacy seemed to go viral. Many politicians couldn't stop thinking how Mr Omwami had managed to keep his people together.How they all could talk one language and do same things together.Most towns had been known to be so divided and couldn't do a small tax together.This made other towns and countries to envy Mr Omwami's town .He started receiving calls from prominent people asking for ideas on how to run their towns and countries.This made Mr Omwami town and his people to be treated with much respect.He was now know to be the most wise man. It was on a Monday morning,the activities were going on as usual.Mr Omwami received a call from a neighbouring country.The president wanted to book an appointment to come and meet him .The president needed to improve agricultural system in his country .He knew and believes that Mr Omwami was in a good position to help him in that.Mr Omwami was a kid man and was known of his good deeds.He dint hesitate to this request.He told the president to come on that Friday they would have the discussion at his residence Friday evening.The president thanked his for agreeing to his request. Back in town things seemed to run smoothly.The rainy seasons had resumed back to normal.There was enough food in town since the farmers were no longer affected by lack of water.The animals in the forest danced with excitement their homes had been restored and food was enough in the forest.The rivers that had dried had now came back to normal.The sea animals too finally had a home .
