Hot, sexy, romantic, and suave are words that best describe Greta’s triplet brothers. They loved and doted on her except one of them. They knew she was their half sister from the conversation they heard between their dad and a friend after he brought Greta home. Tables turned real fast after Greta turned eighteen and the triplets discovered she was their mate. The triplets didn't want to accept their human sister, a seed of their Father's infidelity as their mate. But the bond became irresistible. The triplets couldn't resist their sister, nor could Greta stop herself from falling in love with her triplet brothers, who, unknown to her, were the future Alpha.

Greta knew she was playing with fire because she knew the effect of three dominant men on her senses would be far too powerful. The triplets knew they should stay away from Greta, but the closer they get, the more they want to take. It then became a roller coaster of eating the forbidden fruit. A trick from fate or a slice of their own reality. #hot# #romantic# #raw emotions# #secrets# #sexy#

The Adoption
Greta's POV I sat down stiffly on the bed I was given in the motherless home wondering how my life had turned out the way it did. Every other person at the home was in the television room watching a soap or whatever, I wasn't interested. It had been two months since I lost everything, and my life had been bleak since then. Three months ago, I had everything going for me- loving parents and a home I called mine. I was basking in my parents’ love. I was one of the most popular girls on campus. Some described me as adorable. I walked with the confidence of a person who knew her onions. I had friends and I was very outgoing. I was top of my class and my friends were good as well. But suddenly, that changed with a freak accident that claimed the lives of both my parents on the spot. They didn't make it to the hospital. The other driver had been driving drunk and ran the traffic light which made him run into my parents. His mistake had caused me everything that I held dear. The worst part of it was that somehow, I blamed myself for it. My parents were on their way to get me from practice. I had insisted that I loved and wanted to be a part of the female volleyball team in my school. Mum had wanted to talk me out of it but Dad had told her to let me have my way. For the past two months, I had wanted to turn back the hands of time. I wish I could undo what was already done. Just maybe if I had not submitted the form to join the female volleyball team, maybe they both would have been alive. I had no family. No one to call or turn to. It was the lowest moment of my life. No one saw the suffering inside or perhaps no one cared. My friends at school didn't know what was going on with me. I had to lie to them that I was fine and I grieved for my parents and what I had lost in silence. I was a minor so after days of no one showing up as my family, I was placed in a motherless home. I went to school from there. I didn't like it one bit but where else would I go? I knew no one. It further worsened my mood. I had been there for two months, and yet I had not made a single friend in the home, which was very unlike me. I didn't even want any. I was too drowned in my grief to want to make friends. I just wanted to be left alone and allowed to grieve for my parents and the love that I lost. The sadness I carried was too heavy for me. I was just sixteen years old when tragedy struck, so moving on with life looked nearly impossible. “Hey, Greta. The Matron wants to see you in her office,” Bertha, one of the assistants at the motherless home, said to me, making me come out of my thoughts. I didn't see her come into the room. I was so lost in thought. I didn't know why no one noticed that I was burdened or sad, but then I concluded that everyone at the home seemed to have their problems, so they were too busy battling their problems to see the suffering of a sixteen-year-old. “Greta,” Bertha called my name again impatiently when I didn't respond to what she said. “I am sorry. I will go now?” I said and quickly got up from the bed. Bertha left and I quickly followed her. It took me another second to realize that she wasn't heading towards the Matron's office. Embarrassed, I quickly turned back and headed to the Matron's office. I knocked gently on the door, and when I heard her say I should come in, I quickly but quietly opened the door and then stepped in. I was nervous. I had only been in the Matron's office once and that was the day I arrived at the home. The Matron was the highest authority in the home. She wasn't wicked nor was she nice. Looking back, I guess she was just indifferent. After I stepped into the Matron's office, I realized that she was not alone in there. A man who couldn't be older than my late father sat opposite the Matron. He turned his face to look at me after I stood beside the Matron's table. Although I was nervous, I noticed the sadness in the man's eyes, and I thought I saw moisture, as if he wanted to cry, but he blinked, and his expression was normal. I shook my head thinking that I must have been hallucinating. A man like him wouldn't be moved to tears just at the sight of me. “Greta. This is Mr Eliam Hughes. He is here to adopt you. All the necessary papers have been filled and you will go and get your things now and follow him to his house. They are your new family now,” the Matron said as if she were reading the weather report instead of informing me that I was following a stranger home. I nodded and looked at the gentle man again. He smiled at me a little and I quickly rushed out of the Matron's office to get my things. There was not much to pack since I came with just a few clothes to the home and since I got there, there was no reason to get more clothes. I packed my things as quickly as I could under the circumstances. A lot was running through my mind at that moment. I never thought anyone would turn up to adopt me. The Matron and Mr Hughes were already outside her office when I returned to them. They were so engrossed in their discussion that they didn't see me approach them, but the way the man looked at me, I had the feeling that he knew I was there. “Thank you so much, Matron,” Mr Hughes said, then shook hands with the Matron before he led me out of the home. I was sure the matron and all her assistants were happy to see me go. The home was crowded already, and one person leaving will gladden their hearts. “Mr Hughes, where do you live?” I asked the man the minute we were out of the Matron's earshot. “I will appreciate it if you call me Dad, Greta,” Mr Hughes said and I was surprised. “I I I …” I stammered. “I understand. It will take some time but you will get used to it. I am your father now, and I hope you will accept it that way,” Mr Hughes said, then stopped walking. He was standing beside a jeep that looked nice and expensive. “Ok, sir,” I said, looking at my shoe-clad feet. “That is good. Now to your question. I live in Tainit with my sons,” Mr Hughes said. Tainit was the town next to the one we were in. I was glad. I was grateful that he didn't stay very far away just in case I couldn't live with him and decide to return to the motherless home, I would be able to find my way back. Mr Hughes opened the door to the passenger side and asked me to get inside. He took my bag, placed it in the trunk of the car, and then came to the driver's side and started the car. I kept stealing glances at him as he drove. He didn't make me uncomfortable by looking at me. He was concentrating on the driving. We left the town we were in, and I saw the ’Welcome to Tainit’ signpost, and I got more nervous. What if his wife and kids do not like or want me? I was worried and wondered if he would throw me out then. The drive after we got into Tainit wasn't long before he came to a stop in front of a well-kept house. It was beautiful too and felt like home. Mr Hughes got out of the car and came to open the door for me to get out before he went to the trunk of the car to get my things. “You are back,” someone said from the porch and I looked up to see a boy standing there looking so handsome as he used his hand to cover his eyes from the sunlight. “Call the others,” Mr Hughes said to him and he went back inside. Mr Hughes placed a hand on my back as he led me inside the house. By the time we got in the house, three dashingly handsome boys were waiting standing shoulder to shoulder. I blushed at the sight of such handsome boys. I guessed their ages to be between twenty and twenty-one years. “These are my triplet sons- Dylan, Damien, and Derek. They are your brothers now. Boys, this is Greta, your sister,” Mr Hughes introduced, and they greeted me in turn while I blushed endlessly. The triplets looked like models. Even though they had their clothes on, I could see that their body build was going to make any female's mouth water in admiration and longing. I was happy that I would have brothers who were that handsome. And that was how I came to live with Mr Hughes and his triplet sons. For two years, it had been nothing but bliss. Mr Hughes, whom I now call Dad, had been nothing but loving and caring towards me. Dylan and Damien, too, had been brothers to me in every way. But Derek seemed to have a vendetta against me as he made sure he delivered a sarcasm or sometimes a subtle insult at me but that didn't stop me from enjoying the privileges of the princess of the house. Strangely enough, I had healed from the pain of losing my parents, and I now saw the Hugheses as my family. With the intensity of the love that surrounded me, I had again become cheerful and confident. Yes! That was how powerful their dedication to me was. Dylan spoiled me silly while Dad and Damien always found a reason to buy me a gift. Dad had asked me what I wanted for my eighteenth birthday and I had asked that they all surprise me. I knew Dylan and Damien were working on something and I just couldn't wait to see what it was. I was so anxious that I wished my birthday was the next day. I wanted my day to come already and I could officially be called an adult!
