“For how long do you intend to keep avoiding them?” Averi asked as I sat in her room with her.
“I don't know. They are my brothers, they ought to trust me enough to know that I can never date Alex,” I said.
I had been avoiding Dylan and Demien for almost a week. I would wake up early and leave the house for Averi's place. Although I sometimes spent the night in Derek's room whenever I missed them.
I had confided in Averi about what happened after I got home the day we went to the Ricabin Medical House. She had said they were only being protective but she wouldn't understand the depth of my disappointment because she didn't know the real relationship between us.
