Chapter 27
Saturday night wasn't as I expected it to be; it was far better. Tyler had planned the whole evening for us. He even surprised me by showing up at the door with a bouquet of roses. We had dinner at a small Italian restaurant he loved, and then we went to a rooftop bar with a spectacular view of the city.
I didn't think I could ever see more beautiful lights in my life, but tonight, I was experiencing them all over again.
"This is gorgeous," I said, looking up at the sky while taking a sip of my drink.
Tyler came over next to me with his own drink in his hand and stood right beside me. "I know. I love this view."
