Life In A Nutshell
I guess I should start off by introducing myself, huh? My name is StarLynn. I am
five foot, three inches tall. I have beautiful, long, wavy red hair that reaches to my butt, with the most beautiful emerald green eyes I have ever seen. I have a drop dead gorgeous,
hourglass figure. Us werewolves are gorgeous creatures, just not all of us are gorgeous inside and out. I am the exception. I’m typically pale white but with this gorgeous weather here, I have a sweet tan going on I must say. I am from the Diamond Blood Pack,
but I live amongst the humans in the city of Vidalia. The Diamond Blood Pack was torn to shreds when I was about three years old. Unfortunately, I lost both of my biological parents that day. Ramona, a very beautiful older woman saved me from the rogues that day. All I really remember is my mom putting me as far up in a tree as she could and telling me not to move, and not to look.
My dad must have been killed first because I heard howls of pain and then a woman’s cries of fury that her beloved had been killed. Then suddenly, dead silence. There was nothing to be heard. I started to cry, but stopped when I saw a beautiful older lady coming towards the tree I was perched in. She had beautiful, long, silver flowing hair to her butt, bright blue eyes, about my height that I am now, and a warm, sweet smile as she approached me. She beckoned to me to climb down with the promise that she was there to save me. She whispered for me to move quickly, we needed to get out of the forest before the bad people came back. I jumped into her arms and away she ran, as fast as she could, to get us both to safety.
Once we reached the paved road on the other side of the trees, the woman set me down on my feet. She then told me her name was Ramona, and she would be taking care of me from now on until I am old enough to care for myself.
I would forever be indebted to Ramona from that day on. She owns the largest
hotel on Flora Street right here in Vidalia. It’s dark green in color with gold shudders and trim. It’s absolutely beautiful. There’s five floors, five hundred rooms, a breakfast diner
on the first floor, and a very luxurious bar and grill on the other side of the breakfast diner. Just a little ways in the front entrance lobby, down the hall past the lobby is an amazing swimming pool, and even further down the hallway and outside big bay glass windows is a party bar for the all-nighters.
Ramona raised me to learn the ins and outs of the business so she could one day have me managing the whole thing. She succeeded. I finally became guest manager last year on my sixteenth birthday. Oh what a tremendous celebration it was. Ramona turned
the whole bar and grill into the birthday hotspot. There were so many people there that she had invited. They were not familiar to me at all. Ramona had told me not to fret because very soon I would know all of them. I didn’t
know exactly what she had meant that day, but now that I am the guest manager, I know just about everyone who was at my party that day. They all belonged to the Blood Creek Pack, who lived right outside of town. That’s the pack that Ramona belongs to. We never lived in a pack, we lived out back of the hotel in a small cottage. I enjoyed it growing up though. Ramona was never too far away if I needed her, and we both had cell phones to communicate throughout the day. It was awesome! Can you imagine a five year old with a cellphone? I laugh to myself about it all the time. My one best friend, Charlene, or Chay as we called her, was so jealous of me having a cellphone. She begged her mom to buy her one so she could call me whenever we weren’t together. Her mom finally gave in. Chay is a beautiful girl too. She’s the same happy young woman as me, a little taller standing five foot six, long dark black, straight hair to her butt, with golden eyes that shimmered in the dark. She also had an hourglass figure, but less butt and a smaller chest. We get along
fantastic. I hired her to be my assistant manager about six months ago. She does such an amazing job I really love her personality, confidence, and bubbly attitude.
As I am standing there reminiscing about the good ole days growing up with the woman I have called mom, Ramona, and my bestie, Chay, I get tackled to the couch of the lobby. At first, I was like what in the holy moon goddess is going on, but then I heard
her laughing hysterically. It was Chay. I should have known. She grabs both my shoulders, shaking, me all excited. Me, being dumbfounded, was like, “What in the world got you so excited young one?” She starts laughing and responds with, “omg girl guess what day it is?”
I start laughing, remembering today is Friday. Every weekend, Chay and I go to all the clubs literally all weekend. The clubs here in the werewolf community are open from nine at night Friday until Sunday at midnight. They don’t close down the entire time. Then it’s back to work for everyone on Monday.
It’s the end of the work day now at six pm. We have already shut down and cleaned up the breakfast diner, bar and grill, the swimming pool area, the laundry room, and did the inventory and night desk clerk papers. Ramona and her girlfriends take over duties for
Chay and I for the weekends. We have excellent teamwork here, and it’s always I got your back if you have my back type of environment with all of us. The businesses run very smoothly every day. On this particular day, it’s party time! Chay went home and so did I so
we could get ready to go out to the clubs. I wore a sleek blue dress that showed some cleavage, fit by butt perfectly, and went down mid thigh with spaghetti straps, and of course with matching blue heels with shimmering diamonds all over them. I fixed my hair in a half up-do, half down wavy style, adding a black lip gloss, black eyeliner, and black mascara to accent the look to perfection. Chay wore a sleek red dress that went to her mid thigh and showed her curves perfectly. She also decided on a half up-do hairstyle and black makeup to accentuate her outfit to perfection. We were ready to roll!
We get outside my house, both standing there looking back and forth from my car to hers. The only argument we’ve ever had our whole lives growing up is which vehicle we are taking to go clubbing in. Just as I was thinking about it, we both looked at each other
and said, “mine.” We both started laughing and I spoke up and said,” How about we both take our own vehicles this time?” I am not quite sure why I said what I said, but Chay agreed. We both chuckled and Chay spoke up, “You know what? I think you’re right. After all, you'll have your wolf and we'll have our mates soon, and we wouldn’t want the single sexy men thinking we’re lesbians, right?” That made us both laugh hysterically. We hopped in our vehicles, and off on our way to our first spot. The Golden Lantern. It’s a more casual lounge to just chill in, a great starter place to have your first few drinks and get into the mood of the weekend. We had our first five shots of tequila and left. Next was the Industry nighclub. When we walked in it was jam packed with people. It took a good twenty minutes to get to the bar. The crowd was roaring with laughter, the music was bumpin’, and all I could think was we picked a great night to show up here. This place is wild, beautiful chaos. Just my type of night. Chay ordered us three s*x on the beach drinks each, and we made our way upstairs to the second level to
find a table to chill at for a bit.
We practically downed our 3 drinks each and were feeling buzzed and ready
to shake our tail feathers. We made our way down to the dance floor and danced for a good two hours. I looked around and damn there’s some hotties up in here tonight.
