CHAPTER 2 : INTO THE WORLD OF MAGIC

[SCENE SHIFTS] [SHROUD WAS LAYING ON A BED AND A LADY WAS TREATING HIS WOUNDS] "I can't believe you survived . A normal person would have died from these wounds", the lady whispered to herself . [She was a vision of elegance, her beauty radiating from within. Her long, dark hair cascaded down her back like a waterfall of night, with subtle hints of auburn that caught the light. Her eyes were pools of deep, rich brown, filled with warmth and kindness. Her skin was a smooth, creamy complexion, with a subtle glow that seemed to emanate from within. Her features were finely chiseled, with high cheekbones and a slender nose. Her lips were full and inviting, curled into a gentle smile that seemed to hint at secrets and wisdom. Despite the passing years, her beauty remained unabated, a testament to her inner strength and character ] . "Where am I ?", asked shroud as he opened his eyes . "You're in my home . I found you when I was coming back", replied the woman . "I apologize for the trouble", replied shroud . "I don't need a reason to save a life" she replied and smiled . "I've to leave now . I don't even know why am I still alive", said shroud as he got up but because of his fresh wounds , he couldn't stand up properly . "Don't push yourself , stay as much as you want", replied the woman . "I'm afraid I can't . Please lead me outside", said shroud . The woman didn't said anything and took shroud outside . Shroud was shocked to see that they were high in mountains that he could see clouds below the mountains . "Hell ! I'm sure I gave you trouble", said shroud with a laugh . The woman didn't said anything but laughed . "I apologize again", said shroud with a sigh . "Don't mention it . Take this , I hope this will help you a little", replied the woman as she handed him a special blood sword and a belt to put it in . Shroud bowed infront of her in respect , took the sword and vanished into the smokes of the night...........

[SCENE SHIFTS] {SHROUD WAS SITTING UNDER A TREE} "The nature , it's just something else , isn't it?", he whisperely asked to himself . [The night sky was a canvas of unparalleled beauty, a breathtaking tapestry of wonder. The clouds, tinted with hues of crimson and gold, were strewn across the velvet expanse like wispy brush strokes. The stars, diamonds scattered across the fabric of the universe, twinkled with a light that seemed almost otherworldly. The moon, a silver crescent, cast an ethereal glow, illuminating the darkness with an soft, gentle light. The sky was alive with a celestial music, a symphony of whispers and sighs that seemed to carry the secrets of the cosmos. The world seemed to hold its breath, mesmerized by the celestial ballet, as if the very fabric of reality had been transformed into a work of art. [SHROUD'S FLASHBACK] {SHROUD WAS STANDING ON A BATTLEFIELD AND WAS FIGHTING A DEMON WHO SEEMED PRETTY STRONG} "I really can't tell who'll win this fight but you're a monster shroud . Your fighting skills are just crazy ", said the demon with an evil laugh . "Valtor , I hope we meet in hell soon", said shroud with an evil laugh as he charged on him . "Power 4 , "THE DEATH PENALTY", said shroud as a demon blade appeared in his hand and he attacked the demon but the demon teleported right next to him under a second . "He's not like other demons . I'll have to kill him fast or I'll be killed", shroud whispered to himself . The demon attacked shroud with its swords and stabbed it in his heart . "I didn't knew you were this weak little boy", said the demon with an evil smile . "You freak ! Damn you !", replied shroud as he fell on the ground . "No matter how strong are you , you're only a human . You can't win against a demon king", said the demon . Shroud gain some conscious and stood again to fight . "You still wanna fight ? I'll kill you this time ", said the demon with an evil laugh . "You're a formidable for , demon but that doesn't make you a match for me . Your powers are nothing if you can't defeat me", replied shroud with an evil laugh . "Don't push yourself into it , shroud . You'll only get killed", replied the demon . "I've faced greater evils than you . Your tricks and spell will not save you from me ", said shroud with an evil laugh . "His aura is insane . His powers are just something out of this world . It's increasing with his anger . What a human ! ", the demon whispered to himself in shock . "Did I scared you ?", asked shroud with an evil laugh . "I'm just starting to have fun", replied the demon as he casted a fireball spell on shroud but shroud blocked it with his bare hands . "Impossible . I've killed many great demon slayers with that spell and this kid stopped it with his bare hands . He's not just a human . He's something else", the demon whispered to himself in shock . "Pathetic . Your tricks won't work on me . A demon king can't even defeat a kid", said shroud with a smile on his face . "You may have skills , but I got the lead of darkness", said the demon in furry as he summoned a dark vortex . "Darkness is my domain . You should have never challenged me ", said shroud as he stepped into the vortex and emerged unsacathed from it . Shroud stroked his final blow , killing the demon with just a single shot . The demon fell on the ground and died as his body vanished into the air . "I'm just a human . Why to be scared of me ?", shroud whisperely asked to himself with an evil laugh .

[SHROUD GOT OUT OF HIS FLASHBACK] "What the hell was that ?", he asked to himself . He noticed that he was sweating like hell . "Was that my lost memory?", he asked to himself . His eyes closed as he felt tired .

[SCENE SHIFTS TO THE NEXT SUNRISE] "Why am I still alive? ", said shroud with a sigh as his eyes opened . He got up but he didn't knew where to go , so he decided to go the other way of the mountains . Suddenly , shroud fell on his knees as he started to hear some strange voices in his mind . "It's happening again . Uhhhhh ! ", he said in furry . suddenly , he closed his eyes to hear what the voices were about and he heard screams of a child and as he opened his eyes , he was infront of the child who was screaming . "What the hell ! Did I just teleported here by my own ?", he whisperely asked to himself in shock . "Get out of my way demon slayer or I'll have to kill him with you", said a lady demon who was standing behind shroud . [She was a vision of hellish beauty, her curves and features so striking they seemed to defy the very fires of the underworld. Her long, luscious hair cascaded down her back like a waterfall of night, with subtle hints of crimson that seemed to glow in the dark. Her eyes burned with an otherworldly intensity, their irises a deep, piercing purple that seemed to see right through the veil of reality . Her ears were adorned with demonic earrings, twisted horns of black metal that seemed to curl around her lobes like living tendrils. They glinted with a malevolent light, as if infused with the very essence of darkness . Her skin was a radiant, porcelain doll-like complexion, with a subtle sheen that seemed to hint at the infernal powers that coursed through her veins. Her full lips were painted with a subtle, wicked smile, as if she knew secrets that would damn the souls of mortals . Despite her demonic appearance, there was an undeniable allure to her, a seductive charm that seemed to draw the eye like a moth to flame. She was a true daughter of the underworld, a beauty born of darkness and fire ] . "Hey child ! Run . I'll handle this from here ", said shroud with an evil laugh . "You'll have to kill me first to kill that child", said shroud with an evil smile as he turned around . "Who's gonna stop me ? You , a mere mortal?", asked lady demon while sneering . I've stopped worse than you . You're not taking this child soul today", said shroud in furry as he took his sword out . "We'll see about that ", replied demon lady with an evil laugh as she teleported behind shroud and attacked him . "You're fast , but I'm faster", said shroud as he blocked her attack . "You're no match for my powers", said lady demon as she unleashed a blast of dark energy . "Wait until I get serious . You'll pray for your life after that , lady", said shroud as he blocked her blasts with his sword . "Who even are you ? You're not a human , are you ?", asked the lady demon in shock . "Why to be sacred of me ? I'm just a human after all", replied shroud with an evil laugh . "No.... impossible ", said lady demon as she stumbled back . "It's over . You should have stayed out of this world", said shroud standing over her . "You...spared my life ? Why ?", asked the lady demon with a mixture of anger and admiration . "Because... sometimes, even demons like you deserve a second chance" said shroud , sheathing his sword . "You'd have been dead if I were you", said the demon . "That's what make me different than you", said shroud . "I'll be watching yo", said the demon as she teleported away . "I'm ready every minute of my life", said shroud with a smile on his face .
