CHOICES

(LISA) Last night, the only thing I could do was think about Jennie. What the hell is happening to me? I don't know why I am acting this way. I couldn't get her out of my mind, her beautiful black hair that hang long and wavy down her back and her eyes, oh my god, those enticing brown eyes that make you forget about everything and everyone in seconds, the way her soft hands fit perfectly into mine, it feels like our hands are made for each other and the rush I felt when our fingers intertwine. Her sweet small giggle that sounds so innocent yet naughty at the same time, and the little smile that curls at the tip of her lips, so sexy and sweet. God, I was becoming so whipped as I sounded like an immature school girl with a crush on the unattainable popular girl, whose world I did not belong in. Yes, somehow, that's how I feel. How the hell am I suppose to stay calm and compose now after yesterday? Jennie was going to know something is up, it was clearly evident in those pictures we took in the booth and the expression on my face that I was longing to press my lips against hers, to taste that sweet warm tongue dance with my own. What was it about Jennie that was bringing this side of me out? Should I be scared? "Hey Lisa, so are we going out tonight or what?" Jisoo asked breaking my mental peace as I thought of Jennie. "No. Because she has another date with her Jennie Kim." Bambam chimed in mocking me and I detested the fact that I had filled him in yesterday but then again he wouldn't shut up with more of his questions until I did. "It wasn't a date, friends don't have dates." I bit back aggravated as the worlds felt like bile on my tongue. "I don't know. Suelgi said you two did look all sorts of cozy." Bambam teased. "Suelgi can shovel horse shit." I spat back annoyed even though I knew she would say something after Jennie and I had left; so honestly I wasn't surprised at all. "Still doesn't answer my question. We going out or not?" Jisoo asked still on the previous topic. "Know what, Yeah. Let's go out tonight. With that past few days I'm having, I need a distraction. So yeah. Count me in!" I jumped in remembering who the hell I am and what title comes with my name; I'm Lisa. Lisa freaking Manoban for Christ sakes. I am the purser of pleasure, the antiquarian of panties, the connoisseur of heart break; there was no one that could ever make me forget that and change it about me! Not even little Ms. Perfect Jennie Ruby Jane Kim. If she thinks that after Chus party I would be so easily wrapped around her petite little finger and at her beckoning call then she was dead wrong. Dead. Wrong. "Come on! Let's go f**k s**t up huh? Like the old times!" I continued. "Yeah! Now that's the Lisa I know and love. So swing by your place about nine?" Bambam spoke eloping one arm around my shoulders. "Pre-game at Chus house?" I asked. "Of course." Jisoo answered to the usually night out ritual. "Nine it is. Now get back to work." I ordered escaping Bambam's hold as today my sole duty was paper work and not the grunt work in the mechanic shop. Even though I prefer getting my hands dirty in grease and oil instead of this tediously boring paper work. My cell vibrated and my heart practically jumped when I read the name on the screen. Jennie: Hey Lisa. Still seeing each other today? The message on my cell caused a smirk on my lips as I'm sure Jennie must have written this text a dozen times before pressing send. Lisa: Can't tonight. Sorry. Jennie: Oh... okay. Is something wrong? I could feel a part of me die as I looked at the words on the screen, practically hearing the break in Jennie's voice as I can picture it dulling her bright, brilliant brown eyes. Lisa. Nuh. Everything's fine. I just can't go out with you tonight. Jennie: Then why are you answering like that? Lisa: Like what? Jennie: Distant... Lisa. What's going on? Lisa: I'm at work babe. I got to go. Rain check? Jennie: Yeah. Sure. Rain check. My heart tore to pieces as I could picture the sadness growing in Jennie's eyes this very moment and how heart broken she must be. What are you doing Lisa Manoban? You where raised better than this. You made a commitment to see her again. Are you really going to blow her off? Ughhhh! Lisa: I'm sorry... The curser blinked on the screen as I hesitated. Should I press send? Should I just say to hell with it and ditch Bambam and Jisoo to be with Jennie tonight? This internal war between my head and heart was conflicting. It was causing me a migraine. What was the right choice to make? All I know is that this day couldn't end fast enough. "Hey Jisoo" I called from the other end of the small shop. "What's up?" She asked wiping her hands dirty on a already dirty oil stained rag. "Where are we going tonight? Out of curiosity." I asked solely based on that purpose. "There's a new club opening up, Pulse. " She answered taking a moment to recall the memory of the name, "Why?" "Dress code?" I continued. "Might be. Why? You going to daddy it up?" She laughed with a grin. "Its tempting." I shot back. "Well, you do you Lisa. We all know your clothes won't be on too long." Jisoo mocked making inappropriate gestures with her hands and tongue. Laughing, I watched as the Korean little girl disappeared back into the shop with the others as my thoughts circulated over what to do; screw it. I'm just going to do my own thing and have fun. Where's the harm in that? 10:15 PM Me and the guys pulled up to the other than average brink building the loose vibrant energy of the facility poured out into the street, a bright purple neon light illuminated the name of the venue; Pulse. Once having our I.D's checked Bambam, Jisoo and I were given bright white bands; probably to let the bar tender know we are underage. Entering the bar, you get hit with candy-colored lights and loud music. It's hot, but the air feels cool on my face as it gives an intimate feeling to the atmosphere, The bass thuds to the throw back song; like a pulse in my ribs but it's not why my heart's beating so fast. Now I understand the reason for the name. "Yo. Suel just texted. Said she's going to be late, doesn't know what to wear." Jisoo informed us. I rolled my eyes at the typical excuse from Suelgi who treated every moment like it was a beauty pageant. I on the other hand went with Jisoo's statement from this morning and "daddy up" sporting low rise hip hugging leather pants that perfectly complemented my curve's, an elegant crisp white button up with the first few undone exposing the black bra underneath and Platform high heel vintage motorcycle Martins. My normally wavy curls where pin straight against my back, my makeup light and barely noticeable except around my eyes that where accented with long dark lashes and deep maroon lip stain. "Well I'm going to grab a few drinks." Jisoo stated. "I'll get a booth." I answered. "I'm going to find someone to make out with." Bambam added. "Bammy and his one track mind, ladies and gents." I laughed shaking my head in disbelief. "Lisa Manoban and her not so comic relief. What's the matter Lis? Afraid I'll score before you?" He taunted. "For one night Bam, I really don't wanna think about scoring." I scoffed really hoping to have some sort of mental solace away from everything that's been going on. "Really? Not even that sexy little piece shaking it in the white dress?" Bambam asked pointed my sight towards who he had his sight on. My eyes landed on a petite brunette with long straightened hair that curled at her hips, her form extravagantly snugged into a tight white dress that curved quite an impressive back side. Something about her felt familiar as she moved with the words of the song. You getting excited And you rocking like a pro with it, girl By the way, you got right on that With the chick you wanted And now you in the corner, kissing on a girl I'm about to have a menage with these here ladies Look at those freaks at the bar, yeah, they looking for a star... The song playing was slow with a strong beat as I watched the brown hair girl dance in such a sensual and alluring way, I swear that I knew her. Was I going crazy? No, I know I'm not. Even though the girls back was to me I knew that body. Am I hallucinating? It could be the flashing lights playing with my vision. My nerves working faster as I felt my hands clam up from sweat when I passed through the crowd of people on the dance floor growing closer. The brunette wiggled to the beat lowering herself to the ground, gripping the nap of her hair and running her fingers through them. I stood barely a few meters from the girl, it wasn't until she turned that my suspension was brought to life. "Lisa?" "Jen? What are you doing here?" Jennie was immobile and inaudible as we just started at each other. We held our gazes long enough for me to take in every inch of her and how gorgeously beautiful she was. She's wearing a sexy spaghetti strap white dress that barely came down past her hips, her make up done lightly as she sported nude color heels and sporting a sexy black vintage Chanel Gothic lace choker. "What are you doing here?" She quoted me. "I asked you first." I replied. "You ditched me so I changed my plans and had a girls night. Now you." Jennie answered, crossing her arms before demanding an explanation from me. "The guys have been on my ass for constantly hanging with you. Calling me all whipped." I lied even though part of me believed it was the unspoken truth. "You make it seem like being with me is a bad thing huh Lisa." Jennie stated. "No it's not that-" "You know you could have just told me the truth Lisa, I would have understood." She continued. "Jennie, please it's-" "It's what? You canceled on me with no plausible explanation so you can what? f**k boy it up with your homies?" Jennie bellowed. "Kitten." I spoke walking towards her wanting to explain. "No, please don't stop on my account. What say should I have in how you spend your nights and with whom." She raged causing an angered counter reaction from within me as well. "Know what, fine. Be like that you prissy little princess." I yelled over the loud music. "Go to hell Lisa!" She yelled back invading my personal space causing every fiber in me to grab her by the neck and kiss her so deep and passionately that time stood still and nothing and no one existed outside of the moment. "I'll meet you there beautiful." I whispered into her ear closing the gasp between us. My body merely inches from Jennie's that I could feel it hitch when she inhaled. Looking back into those chocolate eyes, I couldn't help but lick my lips in temptation before I had to forcefully walk away. Ripping the underage bracelet off of my wrist. I need a drink, a strong one. I needed to erase the moment from my memory and settle my nerves as I downed two shots of whiskey from a passing waitress's tray. "Whoa. What was that about?" Bambam asked stunned at the encounter. "Nothing. Now come. Didn't we come here to party?" I asked annoyed turning around and slamming down another shot. It feels cool, then hot and prickly as it touches my mouth. There's a tilting sweetness drifting through the bitter warmth as it washes over my tongue as my gums are tingling. Swallowing it slowly, I feel it heat up the back of my throat and bloom in my chest before licking my lips. Turning around quickly, I felt a slight sensation of vertigo as I bumped into someone. "Hey!" Yelled a voice from behind me seeming pissed off. "Hey yourself." I replied. "Fancy running into you Lisa." Spoke the brunette. "Momo. What a surprise." I felt my throat close as the memories came back of the club. "It is. I hope everything with your 'emergency' worked out." Momo noted using air quotes to the excuse I had given her nights ago. "Yeah. Everything worked out fine." I babbled as the whiskey was hitting me. My sight peered a bit past the brunette in front of me to take note of Jennie's displeased demeanor on the dance floor as she scowled at me. That only sparked a challenging instinct in me as I shared the glare back stating, Game on. "So Momo, you wanna pick up were we left off or nah?" I asked bringing my attention back to the girl in the navy blue dress. "Order me a drink first and maybe you'll get lucky." She winked. "I'll see what I can do." I grinned wickedly pulling out my fake ID I had placed in my wallet just in case. Time passed as me and the others sat in secluded booth in the corner of the club with an impeccable view of the dance floor were I could see Jennie and I knew she could see me too as I could tell that my actions was getting under her skin, causing her blood to boil in anger. Jennie's jealously was such a sweet, delicious intoxication as it humored me to know that my antic's agitated the Korean girl off, and for some reason, Jennie was extremely sexy when she's angry. Bambam at some point had disappeared in the night; probably with some poor naive girl he whispered empty promises too in order to please himself. Suelgi had finally joined us later in the evening attached to her cell phone, too busy taking selfies and pictures of drinks that she shouldn't be consuming, where as Jisoo was being the life of the party on the dance floor, even though I had asked her to keep an eye on Jennie for me as my own attention was focused on Momo. Just like last time, we talked, but this time without the awkwardness of our first encounter as I knew I was stuck and had no way of retreating from the encounter now. Subtle flirty words exchanged with bold touches as my hands rested on her thick bare thighs. Our lips barely hovering as we whispered within our exchange of conversation. "So would you like to see a magic trick?" I asked with a wicked expression as I caught a glimpse of Jennie's scoff of disappointed and disapproval. "What kind of magic trick?" Momo replied leaning closer. "Well, it's more of a bet." I smiled. "Okay. Show me." Lifting up my hips I reached around to my back pocket to retrieve my wallet and pulling out a ten dollar bill. "I bet ten dollars, I can kiss you without touching your lips." I stated almost greedy and assure of myself. "Really? You're going to have to show me." Momo engaged leaning closer. Meeting her half way I gentle cradled her neck in my hand sweetly as my thumb caressed her pink cheeks. "Well first you have to close your eyes" I instructed. Rolling her eyes, Momo did as asked before I slowly leaned in, allowing my hot breath to skim across the flesh of her mouth. Bliss's lips parted as she waited; softly she exhaled and her breath smelled of strawberries and liquor. My head drew in, the tip of my tongue teasing the girls button lip before taking her lips into mine. A sweet soft moan escaped her lips as the kiss deepened. Her tongue wrapped and danced around mine as she tasted me. Momo's hands dropped to my lap grabbing my side trying to pull me closer before swinging her legs on top of mine as if prepping herself to straddle me. Momo was quite the talented kisser, but the encounter leaves me feeling empty and dissatisfied. Unlike when I had kissed Jennie. Slowly departing her gaze was glassy and glazed over, as if she was more intoxicated by the kiss than the liquor. "Well, seems like you lost your bet." Momo's voice was heavy and raspy as she spoke. "Damn. But that was the best ten dollars I have ever lost." I spoke taking a deep breath. "Do you ah.... want to go somewhere more private?" Momo asked her finger drawing up and down my arm. "Any close by ideas." I asked speaking from my ass knowing that this was the effect of the alcohol. "Bathroom?" She suggested starting to unbutton my shirt and rubbing the exposed skin. "Let's go." I answered grabbing the girls hand heading towards the restroom. There's something so scandalous about being intimate in a public bathroom. Maybe it's the spontaneous passion or the thrilling fear of getting caught but in this moment I was just looking for a distraction. Propping Momo onto the counter and tearing her legs open so that I slid perfectly between her thighs allowing her to wrap the limbs around my waist. My lips is attached to her neck as she is undoing the buttons of my shirt and gripped at my hips trying to bring me closer to her body as I shed her body of the strapless navy dress as I inhaled the scent of her skin. She smelled delicious, like mango and champagne. My head swirled as if I was on a merry go round as Momo and I engaged in this heavy war of lips and tongues within our drunk kisses. Our breathing heavy and out of sync as it matched the rapid beating in our chest. Yet I still feel empty and dissatisfied and I know why. I knew that this was wrong, that the woman in my arms, whose lips I kissed and legs that are wrapped about my hips isn't who I want it to be; poor girl barely comes to a close second to who I'd rather have right now, moaning my name. God what am I doing?
