The Ice wolf

A brand new dimension

I don't know how long I was in that bubble. It felt like eons. When I finally landed I was in an unfamiliar land. I was surrounded by trees and on the ground was thick grass. There was grass in my village, but it was nothing compared to this. The grass in my village was little and grew in tufts. After taking in my surroundings I started to follow the path the moonlight gave me vision too. 

I didn't know how long I had been walking for. My feet were starting to hurt and my stomach had started complaining a while ago. I was contemplating finding shelter to rest for a bit when I heard the leaves behind me rustling. Turning around I saw two giant beasts come out of the leaves. They had a confused look in their eyes. I didn't know what to do, so I stood there in fear for a few minutes. 

Finally, I found my voice. "Please help me. I'm lost and don't know where to go." If I had anymore tears to cry, they would have started falling. 

The two beasts looked at each other and one then got a glazed look on its face. After a minute of having that look on its face, one of them walked up to me and crouched down. It looked like it wanted me to climb onto its back so that's what I did. After climbing onto the creatures back, it stood up. I didn't like the feeling of being so high off the ground, so I grabbed onto some of its fur and held on. Before I knew it we were at a huge building.

The building was nothing like I had ever seen before. It was as tall as a mountain and rectangular shaped. It had tons of windows and several different doors. The color was gray with black trimming and white windowpanes. It was large enough to fit my old village as well as several other villages comfortably.

While I was still in awe over the huge structure, the creature I was riding bent down to allow me to slide off. then out of the doors next to where we were standing a man and a woman appeared. The man had sandy brown hair that was cut short. He had golden eyes with a little bit of blue in them. Standing about 6 foot even, he had on a pair of tan pants and a black polo shirt. His muscles were evident as his forearms were huge.

The woman he was with had blonde hair in a ponytail on the crown of her head. Her hair was down to her hips. She had on a baby blue blouse and black pants. She was about five foot eight. Her muscles were not as prominate as her counter parts, but she looked as if she could take care of herself.

"What is your name missy?" The man asked. His voice was stern yet gentle. It reminded me of my dad's voice.

"Lana, sir." I said, barely able to talk because of how thirsty I was. As he was about to ask me another question my stomach grumbled. That set my cheeks on fire, but the woman just chuckled and then got a dazed look in her eye. After a minute she walked to the man and put her hand on his arm.

"How about we have this conversation in your office Rob. I have already requested Evelyn to make her something to eat and to have an omega bring us some drinks." She said with a smile. The man, Rob just nodded.

"Follow us dear." She told me. After I nodded, they walked into the building.

Following closely behind them I noticed that they walked by other people in the building the others would bow their heads slightly. Some even called them "Alpha" and "Luna". We walked up a few flights of stairs to a floor with a few doors. We went into one of the doors. It was an office, there was a giant oak desk and a big chair on the side of the room. Behind them there were two huge filing cabinets and bookshelves. There was a couch and two more chairs on the other side of the room. In the middle of all of the couches and chairs was a small table. The walls were a light gray and had a mirror on one wall and on another wall, there was a sign that said New Beginnings Pack and small rectangle boxes with glass protecting little painting type things. I had never seen anything like it.

"Please sit down." Rob said as he sat in the chair behind the desk. Nodding I walked over to the couch and sat down. As I sat down there was a knock on the door.

"Enter" the woman said. A female entered with a tray. She placed the tray on the small table, and I saw there was a plate with a meat I have never seen before, a small salad and a roll. There were also two mugs of coffee and a small pitcher of cream. There was a bigger pitcher of water and an empty cup as well.

"Thank you, Emily." Rob said as she bowed her head and departed. The woman grabbed a mug of coffee and handed it to Rob, before putting some cream in the other mug. She placed the plate of food in front of me and poured me a glass of water. Then taking her mug of coffee she sat on the opposite end of the couch. I looked at the plate of food and grabbed the fork and knife. Cutting a piece of the meat I brought it to my lips and put it in my mouth. The taste was amazing. It was so tender it almost melted in my mouth. After eating the meat, I moved to the salad. It had several types of vegetables in it. Some I had never seen before. it was dressed in a white sauce. After I ate the salad, I drank a glass of water. I was so full I couldn't touch the roll.

Full from the meal I had just consumed I turned to the woman. "Thank you, ma'am, it was really good."

She smiled. "Of course, Lana, now why don't you tell us how you ended up in the woods where you were found?"

Taking a deep breath, I nod. "It's a long story. I don't know if you guys will believe me, but I'll tell you."

So I told them everything. From the strange meeting with the village elders to watching the monster destroy everything I once knew and everyone I loved. I told them about the magic bubble that took me above all the chaos and carried me to the woods before it popped. I told them how I followed the moonlight all night in the woods. I told them about how I was resting when the creatures that brought me to here found me. My story took hours to tell. While I was telling it, the girl named Emily came and got the dishes and brought us more food.

By the end of the story, tears started to come from my eyes. The woman had misty eyes as well. Rob had come to her side and had his hand on her shoulder.

"You have been through a lot at such a young age and in very little time Lana. We will set up a room for you and you can stay here until we figure something out. Suzy will you link Emily and have her prepare a room before she comes to get our dishes? She can show Lana to her room on the way to the kitchen." Rob said. The woman, Suzy, nodded and got that dazed look in her eye again. A few minutes later Emily came and picked up our dishes and took me to my room.

My room was big, it had a big bed, a huge black box on the wall, and a couch. The walls were white it had dark curtains covering the windows. Slowly, I made my way to the bed and crawled under the covers. I stretched and yawned before, for the first time in what felt like ages, fell into a comfortable sleep.
