Betrayed

Chapter One

Nathan and i had been married for two years now, him and i have been together since collage days. it was a beautiful love story one that i had dreamt about since i was a teenager just like in the movies until i met jade, Jade was Nathan's childhood best friend, he was good looking, attractive in every way and i found myself attracted to him. but i am a married woman i can't find another man attractive. i sat across from the dinner table starring at the beautiful man that sat cross from me talking to my husband about some business plans and ideas . i was disinterested in what they were talking about just starring at the mesmerizing man that sat before me.my thoughts were jumbled and my breathing ragged just looking at this man rumble on and with my husband. i took a sip from my glass of water to clear my dry mouth and get my thoughts together. i turned to my husband who did not even spare me a glance ever since the dinner started. i tried to get his attention several times but only jade paid me mind with just a friendly smile, Nathan still ignored me so i gently stood from my seat only catching Jade's attention again. he looked up at me smiling

'' leaving already?''. Nathan turned to me.

'' Yes I'm really exhausted''. I told them before turning to leave.

''Well then goodnight have a wonderful night''. he told me before i walked out of sight.as i walked into our bed room the only thing that run through my head was his words. i walked into the bath took a quick shower before climbing into the bed and getting under the covers, as i lay on the bed thinking about the day's event my thought went back to Jade , thinking about his soft dark brown hair, his chiseled jawline, his beautiful light blue eyes that drew me in every time he looks at me, his juicy pink plump lips. i couldn't stop thinking about him . some where at the back of head was Nathan with an arrogantly confident face, he was my husband the man I promised to love for the rest of my life suddenly all thoughts of jade went out the window like it was not even there. i turned to my side turning the lights off. I closed my eyes and fell into a deep sleep.
