Betrayed

Chapter Three

I sat on the ground sobbing when i heard the door open and shut then followed by silent foot steps approaching me, then an arm went around me hugging me. i looked up at the person with teary eyes his face was blurred form the tears but i knew who he was,he held me close consoling me and whispering sweet words into my ears calming me down. the tears still stream down my face denying me the chance to see his face, i was so broken from the thought of Nathan's words, the horrifying words he spoke to me no sympathy or pity . he broke my heart and walked right out thedoor leaving me crawled up on the floor with no regards for my feeling. but instead a man whom did not have a duty to me cradled me in his arms as if to share my pain, a man who was not responsible for my situation sat with me trying to put me at ease when my own husband was no where. he carried me to the bed as i had settled down, he sat with me until i had fallen asleep.

i opened my eyes to the sound of cars rolling in the drive way, i had fallen asleep. it was already night time i got out of bed and walked into the living room to welcome Nathan, i hadn't seen him earlier this morning. as i stepped into the living room he walked in with a little boy in his arms and a beautiful blonde woman by his side. i had never met them before the might be family, i smiled at them as the walked laughing and smiling at each other deep in conversation. he hadn't told me anything about their visit or anything of the sort. it might have been an unexpected visit i assumed. they stopped a few feet from me, Nathan looked at me with pity before hand the little boy over to the lady, i noticed the smile on her face had dropped and was replace with an ugly scowl on red tainted lips. Nathan's expression changed as well to one i had never seen before. my heart begun to drum in my ears after all those months i thought every thing was settled but i was wrong just like something was wrong as i stood before the man who was supposed to be my husband,'' Audeia'', he called my name. its been long since i heard him call my name,'' i want a divorce'', those where the words he said to me before walking way with the woman and child into our bed room, the one we shared as husband and wife. he was going to share our matrimonial bed with another woman right under my nose. i had never thought after everything he could do this, after how i suffered those months ago. he looked me in the eye and asked for a divorce, he another woman into our home. i was shocked and shaken with fear, heartbreak. my eyes had blurred and the tears rolled down my face as stood there, my breath uneven, my hands were shaking as i starred at the ground. anger begun to boil in my chest, how could this happen after everything,'' AFTER EVERYTHING'', i screamed out as the tears bolled out of my eyes. how, how could this happen, how everything was hazy . i turned around to find the blonde starring down at me. who was she even, who was this woman.
