Damien did not want to do it. He did not want to let his only ray of sunshine go. But he also knew that he was toxic for him. Ever since Alexander’s breakdown he tried to limit showing his face to Alexander. Living like this was not good for either of them. That is why he had decided to let him go. He was standing in front of the guest room door, trying to gather courage to face Alexander. He had been practising his speech all night. Now he had to talk to Alexander and he wanted to talk to him without him flinching. He thought about knocking but decided against it. Alexander was probably going to ignore him anyways. He cracked open the door just so only his head could go through, “May I come in? I have something to talk to you about.” It was no lie that Alexander did not want to see him. H
