After their short conversation it got a tad awkward. Alexander was more than a tad curious to know about Damiens’ family. He wanted to ask but when he turned to face Damien he saw him deep in his thoughts and chose to not bother him. They sat in the field of flowers enjoying the comfortable silence. They sat there no one saying anything to no one. Alexander used this opportunity to think. He had been through a lot and he just wanted to think. He did not want to stay with Damien forever. Even Damien would think ill of him if he takes the whole arm when given just the hand. He had to do something with his life, he had to make a name for himself. Maybe then he will be able to make Xavier his without being rejected. In all honesty the only valid reason (so he thought) that he could not be with
