CHAPTER 29
Alexander was not planning on letting Xavier that he got his memory back. Now that his name slipped out of his mouth he had no excuse on avoiding him. He looked at him not wanting to answer the question. He knew that this one question will lead to many other questions hence he just stared at him. Broken heart and sadness could be heard from Xavier’s voice when he said, “Why did you pretend you did not know me? Do you really hate me that much?” Xavier’s voice was low yet could be heard perfectly in the quiet forest. The sounds of the night were the only thing that could be heard as silence took over between the two boys. To say that Alexander did not feel guilty would be a lie.
