Why Are You Leaving So Soon

Chapter 4

We walked to class I kept smiling like a damn i***t I could not stop smiling I felt his lips still lingered on my lips. I just wanted the day to be over I just wanted to be able to see him he has not left my mind all day or last night he is all I can think of. I sit down looking at my work in front of me then my phone dings I look down to see a text from Henry I smiled at seeing his name.

“You’re driving me crazy Mar.” I quickly responded trying not to drive too much attention to myself and not getting caught. “We need to talk after school meet me at our spot at 10 and bring a blanket it’s going to be cold tonight.” I had instantly sent that text knowing that Mr. Porter will have a field day taking away my phone. I felt my phone buzz and I looked at it is hiding a faint smile. “Yeah, we do Mar but make sure you bring some food knowing you will get hungry. Love you beautiful.”

The day had dragged on like it was never-ending I was nervous about our talk, but I have not felt this happy since I can remember. I also know that my dad would be happy if Henry and I get together because I know he has always wanted us together. Henry is the only guy my dad would ever let me live with if we moved into an apartment or sleep in my room if I were having a bad day. My dad trusts him with my life since he knows he will not do anything to hurt me.

The final bell had rung, and I gave Henry a quick kiss before we both went to practice. I hate locker room talk it is so gross all these girls talking about one nightstand they had the night before or comparing the d**k sizes of their even more annoying boyfriends. The worst is when they talk about Henry “Omg guys did you see Alex today damn that boy is fit I bet he is amazing in bed. I so want him to just f**k me one time at least one time to see how good he is or how big he is.” They all laugh and keep talking about him in that way just disgust me I do not get how they can just act like he is just some piece of meat. I quickly get dressed in my clothes and head out to the gym.

We do our routine, and everyone messes up the first easy moves these girls need to stop getting laid and f*****g practice it is going to ruin us at our competition next week. We can get by moving a few people to different spots since there are s few girls messing up the simplest move. Cheer practice is finally over I quickly jump into the shower to rinse the sweat off my skin and to help wash off the nerves that I was feeling. I got dressed and grabbed my stuff from my locker and said goodbye to the girls and headed to my car. He was leaning against my car waiting for me I was not ready to see him, yet I needed a few hours before I saw him again.

“Hey, beautiful how was practice.” He pulled me into a hug and kissed me I knew his buddies and the cheer team would be coming out of the school at this moment not that I gave a damn. All I cared about was his lips on mine his hands on my ass and in my hair. I loved the way his lips felt against mine the way his hands got tangled in my hair and the way his tongue danced with mine like they were made for each other. I have never felt more alive at this moment he brings the air to my lungs he makes my heart skip a beat with a kiss or just a simple kiss. I am so f*****g in love with this man he is my everything I would be broken if we do not make this work.

“It was horrible everyone kept messing up the most simple things and we had to do it over and over again and Kat fell and got hurt so we have to replace her and she is our best flyer but its all better the minute I saw you.” He smiled and kissed my head.

“We need to get home before everyone comes to talk to us after seeing us kiss even though I don’t give a damn what they say.”

“We need to talk Henry about what we are or are going to be, but we have that stupid dinner tonight.” He gave me a light smile I know he has a lot on his mind since last night he needs to realize that I know him better than anyone else. “Yeah, we need to go before our dad’s kill us because you know how my dad gets if we are late.”

“Yeah we need to go but I need something before we go.” I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled his neck down and kissed him. It was a long tender kissed that brought chills down my spine and made my body heat up. How can a man do this to me a virgin cheerleader that has never been kissed feeling like this for her best friend it is crazy?

We said our goodbyes I do not get why we do not just drive to school together every day It would save us so much money on gas but whatever. I quickly drive home knowing I will need to rush to get ready. I pull into my driveway and grab my stuff and run inside and upstairs to get ready. I touch up my makeup and re-curl my hair. I looked at my closet looking at what I can wear that is nice for where we are most likely going. You may be wondering why don’t you wear what you wore to school well we always go to a five-star restaurant since mine and Henry’s dad is pretty well off but we never really show it off. I slip on a simple red dress and grab a pair of red heels put on a pair of my mom’s old earrings the only thing that I have of hers that is not in storage.

I walk downstairs to see my dad in a simple suit he loved that since my mom hated it apparently since it did not fit our social status stupid b***h.

“Wow Mary Ann you look beautiful I always forget how grown-up you are already.” I gave my dad I know how hard this year has been on him since I am going to be graduating soon and going to college soon. “Thank you, daddy you look, handsome I know how much you love that suit.”

“We need to go you know how those two get when we are late even a minute late.” My dad grabs his keys and we head to the car to leave but like always my dad opens my door for me. The drive is quiet he knows something is up with me and he does not want to pry he knows when to ask me about stuff and when to not.

We pull in front of a beautiful restaurant with a beautiful fountain in front the Lockwood always wants the best and I cannot blame them. My dad gives the key to the vale and then we go inside and are immediately escorted to the back of the restaurant into a private room. I see Henry in a simple suit damn he looks hot as f**k right now I feel butterflies in my stomach at this moment.

“Hey Allen, how have you been I haven’t seen much of you lately.” I give him a hug and give Henry a hug to not seem suspicious of anything. “You know how the office gets sometimes Ann, but I have been good how has practice been are you guys ready for next week.” We talk about practice and they talk about work and we have a good time just hanging out and eating amazing food.

After dinner, we were standing outside waiting for our cars I could not help but stare at this beautiful man next to me. The light stubble om his face, the scar on his chin, and his beautiful eyes I could get lost in for a century. “I can I talk to you over here for a second Henry.” He nods and we walk over to a bench and we sit down. “What’s up Mar.” he gives me a quick kiss on the cheek "I just wanted a moment alone with you" He looks at me grabbing my hand giving it a light squeeze. “That is ok with me but I would so love to be able to kiss you without worrying about our dad’s seeing us. Also, so I can tell you how breathtaking you are in that dress.” I blush and I look away so he can’t see but I hear a light laugh coming from him and I hear my dad calling my name since our car is here. I give Henry a light hug and give Allen a quick hug while saying our goodbyes. I get into the car and buckle up listening to the sound out the radio as we drive away from the restaurant.

We head home and I quickly get changed into a string bikini and shorts, grab some candy and drinks, and head to mine and Henry’s spot so we can talk and figure out what the hell we are.  I am so damn nervous about what we may become.

Hey, I have been dealing with a lot of personal things lately and they have been taking their toll on my creativity. I have also just started college too so I am very busy with work and with college so I submitted what I have so far but I will try to update when I get a chance and am in a better state of mind.
