                                                                                           •ARIANA• Waking up I look over and see my 3-year-old daughter Iris still sleeping so I kiss her forehead and get out of the bed gently and walk out of the room. "Ariana do you work today". My brother Kyle asked walking out of his room. "Yea can you keep Iris for me". I ask turning on the heater before walking back into my room. "Aww sis I can't I got that job interview today remember maybe mama can watch her". He said walking into my room as I gave him a look. "You know that lady don't like me every since I had iris". I said running her some warm bath water. "Just keep trying she'll come around but ask dad". He said with a shrug. "I asked him yesterday Kyle I guess I'll just have to take her with me". I said stopping the water and going to pick her up. "Don't you have to meet up with you ex Ronny today or did you forget". He said and I slap my forehead shaking it. "I totally forgot about that nigga thank you". I said and he nodded walking out and closing the door behind him. "Hey mamas you ready to take a bath". I said making her stand up as she rubbed her eyes. "You go work". She asks as I take off her clothes. "Yes but guess what". I said excitedly and she started laughing. "What mommy". She asked sitting down in the tub. "You get to go with me and you get to see Grandpa Connor". I said and she started cheering. Mr.Connor was an old black man that I recently started doing water exercises with, him and Iris loved each other she calls him pop pop. He's also an old family friend I grew up with his grandson Kane but he moved away and that same night he took my virginity I mean yeah he's older than me but It just kinda happened. "I swim with him". She asked as I rinsed her off. "Yes but not for too long because we have to go see grandpa today". I said making her stand up before grabbing a towel and drying her off.  "Okay".she said as I got her dressed. "Go and sit with uncle Kyle until I get out the shower". I said patting her butt standing up and she nodding running out. Cutting on the shower I remove my clothes before stepping in and grabbing the soap. ~After shower~ Getting dressed I grab my phone and keys closing the door to my room before walking to the living room only to see Kyle had Iris in a chokehold. "What the hell ya'll in here doing". I asked laughing as I pushed his head. "She was up in here whining because I told her no tv". He said letting her go and she climbed off the couch and walked over to me. "Iris you know I don't let you watch tv on weekdays where's your learning book". I said looking down at her as she pointed to her book bag. "Okay go get your bag and let's go because I'm running late". I said and she ran over grabbing her bag before sticking her tongue out at Kyle and running back over to me. "It's okay Lil bit cause when y'all come back me and my sister gone have ice cream and you can't have any stick yo tongue out to that". He said sticking his tongue out as she pouted folding her arms. "Alright we out love you brother". I said grabbing her hand. "Love y'all, ".he said as we walked out and to the car. Opening the back seat I sit her in her car seat before buckling her up and getting in the car myself. "You want a veggie burger". I ask looking into the rearview mirror as I drove.  "Yes, I have soda". She asked and I shook my head. "No, you can have apple juice ". I said and she cheered causing me to laugh. Pulling up to this vegetarian spot I go through the drive-through since there is no inside. "Hi welcome to everything veggie order when you're ready". The person said through the intercom. "Hey May I have two veggie burgers and veggie chips". I ask grabbing my purse to grab the money. "Hey Ariana just pull up to the window". The person said and I drove up to see Shanade was working today. "15.20".she said and I hand her the money before pulling up to the next window.   "Would you like some ketchup". Bear asked handing me the bag of food. "Yea she gone need some, Look Iris it's your best friend Bear". I said rolling down the back window. "Hi Bear". She said and he waved at her with a smile. "Have a good day". He said closing the window and I drive off to my job. ~Work~ Getting out I grab our food and help Iris out of the car before taking her hand and walking in. "Pop-pop". Iris yelled letting go of my hand and running over to him and he swept her up as they laughed. "What you been feeding this girl ari". He said tickling her stomach. "I try not to feed her to much Mr. Connor I said handing her the burger and chips. "So I'm having a get together at my house Friday your grandma said she's gonna come by you interested in coming". He asked as I bit into my burger.   "Yea I'll come your wife hasn't seen Iris in a while I know she's been asking for her". I said with a laugh. "Does she, child she ask about this girl almost every day".he said causing us both to laugh and then iris laughed because we were laughing. "Girl you don't even know what's funny". I said bopping her nose and she fell back into Mr.connors chest laughing. "Are you ready to start exercising". I ask throwing our trash away and pulling off my clothes along with Irises. "Child am I, my joints been acting a fool since I been setting up for my grandson and his wife". He said as we walked into the pool and Iris went swimming around. "Stay close to us, and who Kane". I ask rotating my arms as he copied me. "Yes and T'mesha you know the one y'all was friends with". He said and I nod rotating my arms the other way. "Yea I know the b***h, ouch grandpa". I said holding my lip looking at him. "Watch your mouth Ariana you know I don't like all that cursing na". He said pointing his finger at me and I look and see Iris on his back laughing at me. "What you laughing at little girl". I said mugging her. "Pop-pop whoop you". She said as she continued to laugh. "Let's get back to work". I said starting a new exercise.
