Lilly knew he didn't suspect her of seeing Sam and him in the wolf chamber. Lilly didn't understand why, but she felt jealous and angry seeing them together. It wasn't like Lilly didn't know they had been an item, But Lilly had thought it had stopped since Ian was giving her attention. Lilly hadn't seen Sam since the first week of school. Lilly hated that she had been fooled once again by Ian. Lilly knew it wasn't like her to be letting her feelings get the best of her. Ian was her protector, not her boyfriend. He was an elite. He could have anyone he wanted to choose. Lilly couldn't stop thinking of him kissing her or even saying he cared for her. Was he toying with her or did he mean it? Lilly felt confused about everything with Ian. Why couldn't she let him be? Lilly had never experienced pain like this. Lilly knew about love because her mother had loved her and so had the Hillgaurds and Wanda. But not the romantic kind of love other than what she felt for Ian. She had read in pride and prejudice and that had been set hundreds of years before her time. Ian hadn't said anything about her recent change making her wonder if he had regretted it or not. Lilly ignores her thoughts as they enter the dinner hall. Chester and Darius waved them over and Lilly sat beside Chester as Ian got their food. Lilly wasn't feeling hungry but She didn't want Ian to think something was wrong. So Lilly played the masking Muse keeping herself locked away. "Did Ian tell you yet?" Chester whispered to Lilly getting her attention. "No what?" She whispered back, happy for the distraction. "You get to stay a few days with Darius and me when school is out for fall vacation, " Chester said excitedly. Lilly smiled at him happy to get away from Ian for a bit even if it was two months from now. "That's great I won't be anybody's snack though, right?" Lilly asked, joking. Ian gave her a stern look before looking away. Lilly smirked. "Maybe I'll let someone drink from me." Lilly joked, getting a glare from Ian. He slid his hand on her thigh, giving it a gentle squeeze, making her go silent as she kept herself from swatting it away. It was sending tingles up her spine making her mind go into mush. "damn my attraction." Lilly thought. "No silly, Vampires don't drink from the source anymore, they use synthetic blood. It tastes like our blood or at least that is what Darius says." Chester giggled, making Darius laugh lightly. "I don't know much about vampires, since I've lived with wolves, silly boy. " Lilly said truthfully. Lilly had been raised around wolves all my life and not very many vampires had come around other than Darius and Chester to collect Ian. "Well, you get to experience living with vampires, it's quite fun, " Chester said excitedly. He always knew how to make her stop worrying about things that were bothering Lilly. She was glad she had him as a dear friend. Lilly ignored her feelings and enjoyed Chester's company before they split in different ways. Lilly kept her act up as Ian walked them to the dorm. They both stayed silent back to their rooms. Ian stopped Lilly before she got to her room. "I have something to tell you. " Ian choked out, rubbing the back of his neck. Lilly felt herself hold her breath before answering him. "What is it, Ian?" she asked, forcing a smile. Ian fell to his knees looking up at her broken. Lilly was caught off guard, before looking at Ian sadly. "I'm so sorry Lilly, I screwed up. " He cried, wrapping his hands around her. Lilly was confused by his change of mood. She had never seen Ian act this valuable around her. Lilly held him to her. "Ian, you shouldn't be apologizing, whatever you do is your business. If you want Sam, then be with Sam. I'm just a halfling." Lilly addressed him, smiling sadly at him. She could feel her tears but tried to ignore them. Ian pulled her to him, holding her against his chest. "Sam had your scent on Lilly. I'm so sorry I couldn't resist your smell when I shifted. "Ian recalled. Lilly could feel herself breaking as she let the pain wash over her. Ian whined, holding her closer to him as he leaned against the wall. "It doesn't matter. " Lilly murmured. "It does matter because you are my mate Lillianna. I slept with Sam when you were my mate." "what? I'm not your mate. I have a dormant wolf and I can't be with you. But I can't stop wanting to be near you even when you hurt me deeply. " Lilly said honestly, not catching on to what he meant as she looked into his blue eyes. She saw something breaking inside him. "Lilly. " Ian whispered. Lilly saw his eyes shift yellow before he pinned her against the wall and him. Lilly stayed still slightly scared. Ian was laughing before he lifted his head, looking at her with glowing yellow eyes. Lilly is tense seeing Ian's wolf in control. "I could change you, then you would feel the want and need I have for you. The love I have hidden over the years waiting for you turn of age. The need to get between your thighs and claim what is mine. I could teach you how to handle your wolf, Lilly. We could finally be fully together." Ian said, slightly crazed. Lilly felt herself freeze in fear. She was screwed, his wolf was in control not Ian. His eyes watched her carefully. His teeth were sharp and his ears pointed. Lilly could feel his claws cut into her wrist, making her wince. She could feel her heart racing. "Ian, please I'm not ready. "Lilly pleaded shakily, feeling Ian breathe against her cheek. He growled before nuzzling her neck. "Ian no!" Lilly cried out as his nails dug deeper. "I've waited long enough mate. you're legal for me to mark you." He glowed. "Ian stop your hurting me." Lilly cried, trying to get him off her. Ian kept her pinned as he moved her head to the side, licking Lilly's neck and shoulder. Ian groaned, nipping her neck. Lilly squirmed trying to get away, but it was no use. He was too powerful compared to her. "You're mine! " Ian said, animalistic than man. He took his claw, ripping away her school shirt, and leaving her exposed to his mercy. Ian pinned her hands with one hand as he rubbed his face against Lilly's breast before taking one out of her lace bra and in his mouth licking her n****e. Lilly arched her back to meet his tongue unconsciously. She tried pulling away only to get growled at by Ian. "Please, Ian stop. "Lilly pleaded, ignoring the pleasure. Ian ignored her going to her other n****e. Lilly tried pulling away again only for Ian to flash his eyes at her, stilling her once more. "I'm in charge. " Ian growled before lashing Lilly's breast with his tongue and pinching her n*****s with his fingers. Lilly gasped, feeling her heartbeat rise and the wetness pool between her legs. Lilly clamped her legs closed, not budging as Ian's fingers tried to find their way between her thighs. "Open Lilly. " Ian ordered, looking at her. Lilly shut her eyes, not looking at him. "I said no Ian, stop now." "Now. " Ian growled in her ear. Lilly kept her legs shut. He pinched her n****e hard, making her cry in pain. "I'm not your s*x toy! " Lilly yelled, trying to move under him. "You'll be what I want, and I want you to open your legs now. " Ian growled loudly. Lilly cried out as his claw cut even deeper into her wrists. Lilly could feel her blood cascade down her wrist. "Stop hurting me. " Lilly said, looking into his beast's eyes. He growled, letting her wrist go before parting her legs forcefully cutting her thighs slightly. Ian stuck his head between her thighs, not caring that Lilly was pulling his hair to get him away. He licked her thighs clean of blood, then moved further to her womanhood. Lilly cried out as he assaulted her c**t with his tongue not caring she was pulling his hair. "Mmm so damn tasty just like your blood." Ian purred evilly as he went up for air. Lilly kept from looking at him with tears still streaming. Ian pulled her wrist up, licking the blood running down her arms. He moaned, lapping it up happily. Lilly kept pleading, only to be ignored by Ian. Lilly cried out, panicking. She was starting to black out. Lilly heard the door open before Ian got jerked away from her. Chester pulled a blanket against Lilly. Darius fought off an animalistic Ian as Chester ran to get her clothes and take Lilly to the bathroom. "Are you ok?" Chester asked worried holding her close to him. Lilly cried, holding the blanket against herself. She was frightened Ian had been assaulted. After Lilly calmed down, Chester put the slave on her marks from Ian and covered them with bandages. "That i***t. He should have just told you. now look what he has done." Chester mumbled to himself, which Lilly didn't hear. Chester helped Lilly get dressed before they sat together on the bathroom floor on the blood-covered blanket. Lilly would have to replace it for Chester. "Ian said I was his mate, but that was impossible, and I didn't know what he meant, so I said I'm just a halfling and he attacked me. " Lilly said, trembling not to relive Ian's assault on her. "He is your mate. You kinda rejected him. Why don't you want to change into a wolf? " Chester asked. I looked at him like he was crazy. "They are beautiful creatures, but they are unpredictable and wild. Ian is proof of that. I don't want that. I have to take care of Rose when Wanda isn't around anymore. I don't want to hurt my sister like Ian does me. " Lilly said madly. Rose was always a priority to her feelings or destiny. "I'm sorry. I wasn't trying to say that. You just have to realize that Ian has been fighting his feelings for you for many years, which is hard on a wolf. Even when you weren't around, he called your mother just to find out what you had been up to. I knew they kept you in the dark, which was a bad idea. I don't know how to explain it very well, but I don't think it's safe for you here since Ian is freaking out. " Chester said, rubbing her shoulder. They sat in the bathroom waiting for it to be safe for them to come out. Lilly hadn't known he had kept tabs on her through the years. "Why can't he just be true instead of wearing a mask?" Lilly asked. Chester laughed. "Trust me, I had to use a pry bar to get Darius's mask off. It took years. It wouldn't be fair if you just popped Ian's off with your hand. now would it?" chester teased. Lilly gave him a half smile, glad he was there for her. Darius yelled to get Lilly to his room before they heard a crash. Lilly and Chester didn't waste any time, they quickly left the room, going to Darius' room. Chester hid Lilly's sight so she couldn't see Ian as they made it to Darius' room. After Darius had calmed down, Ian closed the door behind him to his room, locking it, his expression a mix of determination and empathy. "Lilly, I'm sorry you had to go through that. We'll protect you. You're safe here. Ian just needs to cool down. " Darius' soothing voice calmed Lilly's mind. Lilly's voice was barely a whisper. "I didn't want to hurt him like he had me. I just... I can't be what he needs. I have to be there for my sister." Lilly touched the bracelet her sister had made her. Chester knelt beside her, taking her hands in his. "You're more than enough as you are. You don't need to fit into anyone's world but your own. We'll help you through this. Just don't quit on yourself. You have to be strong for yourself before your sister." Darius, though imposing, softened his demeanor as he approached them. "Ian's actions were driven by his pain and confusion, but it's no excuse. He needs to reflect on his behavior and understand the consequences of his actions like he preaches", Darius sighed to himself. As the night wore on, Lilly found some solace in the presence of her friends. The safety of Darius's room was a refuge from the chaos and emotional turbulence of the evening. Though the wounds were still fresh, Lilly's friends provided the support she needed to feel safe once again.
