Sierra's cell phone rings. When Siera saw who was calling, she was surprised because the call was from Jason.
Diego was beside Siera; he was quietly watching what Siera was doing.
“Hello,” said Siera to the person on the other end of the line.
Someone there replied in a happy tone, “Hello, Siera. Where are you now?”
All Siera knew was that Jason and Jet had a good relationship, so there was no problem when she told Jason that she had just gone to see Jet. "I just saw Jet."
"Oh. How's Jet? I haven't had a chance to meet Jet yet. How is he now?”
She thought back to Jet being in prison, there was sadness on his face, and Siera, who saw him, felt pity. She took a deep breath and told her brother, “Jet is good. It's just that he still looks shocked. I don't know, but I'm sure that Jet wasn't grandpa's killer.”
Jason could understand what his brother and sister-in-law were going through right now. This must be the most challenging time for both of them. "I am sorry for this incident. You shouldn't have to accept all of this ordeal." Jason paused before he said again, "I hope you and Jet can get through these tough times." Jason's voice is, as usual; he can constantly strengthen people who are in their lowest period. Jason and Jet, they're both close. Jet often spills his heart out to Jason. When he talked to Jason, he felt right at home. Only Jason was the sanest of all.
"Thank You. I hope the real killer is caught soon.” As Siera spoke thus, she thought of Jonathan. Jonathan's face continued to haunt her, and as soon as her hands clenched tightly, she wanted to expose all of Jonathan's crimes.
Jason's voice was a relief as he said, “Yeah, I also hope we can find the real killer soon. I hope you stay patient.”
It was as if a clear tear was about to fall from the corner of Siera's eye, but she didn't want to show it to Diego, so Siera immediately turned her head the other way and quickly wiped the tears that were about to fall down her face.
Unfortunately, Diego knew what Siera was up to at the moment. However, he pretended not to see what Siera was doing; he kept his eyes straight ahead.
When Siera said nothing, Jason immediately said to Siera, “Are you free tonight?” Jason said it quietly, but it was too quiet in the car without a radio or music. Only Siera and Jason's voices could be heard there, so Diego could listen to what they were talking about.
Diego swallowed his saliva as his ears heard clearly what Jason was saying a few seconds ago. Is it an invitation? Diego asked in his mind.
Siera gasped, but she didn't think anything of the question; she felt that the Lee family would be holding something that required everyone to go home early.
Hence she immediately said, “There is nothing important. I also don't have an appointment with anyone. What can I help you?" Siera tried to remember what Mr. Lee had said before. Did he ask all the family members to come over tonight? That is also if Mr. Lee considered herself a member of the Lee family. Maybe Mr. Lee managed to find someone who could change the will who now wrote his name on the new one, so Mr. Lee. Lee invited everyone to come to the inheritance reading.
If tonight is the time for reading the inheritance, it would be better if she didn't have to come. There's no point in coming.
"Would you like to have dinner with me?" Jason asked timidly.
Siera immediately coughed; she knew Diego also heard this conversation. She didn't want Diego to think evil thoughts about her.
Diego didn't flinch; he was even trying not to breathe. It was too quiet in the car, so Siera was sure that even the sound of a needle dropping would be heard so clearly, too.
However, he felt that his guess might be correct, Diego thought.
The natural killer is Jet Lee. He killed his grandfather because his grandfather set Jason up with Siera, but then Jet came to his grandfather and hoped that his grandfather would grant his wish to marry Siera.
His grandfather was, of course, angry because Siera was already planning to be engaged to Jason.
It was also the one who could answer, "Why wasn't Grandpa Lee attended this wedding?"
Grandpa Lee doesn't want to see this ridiculous marriage, so he goes outside horrified, and when he comes home, he gets an unpleasant welcome from Jet.
Is my guess right? Is Jet really the killer of his grandfather? He himself was afraid of his guess. If that was the case he had great sympathy for Siera.
If that's the case, then maybe I'll get some easy evidence at the murder scene later, Diego talked in his mind; he had already guessed that he was about to send the report.
Siera had thought deeply, she thought that the question Jason previously asked had something to do with the reading of the inheritance rights, but it turned out that she was totally wrong. Luckily she didn't say anything to Jason. While scratching her hair, Siera said, “Yes, I can.”
There was a sigh of relief coming from the line, and Siera immediately added her question, "What time and where?"
"Actually I haven't booked a place yet, I'm worried about being rejected, so I asked first."
Siera nodded her head, which Jason definitely couldn't see from where he was.
After a few minutes later with a conversation that had nothing to do with dinner, because Siera chose to talk about something else, the phone cut off and Siera had many things on her mind.
Why didn't the previous owner of this body have any memories of Jason? Had Jason ever really approached her? Siera thought in her mind.
