Prologue
The woman could only gazed sadly at her beloved as she clung to the child in her arms. The man could only close the distance between them and embrace her tightly, never taking his eyes off the baby girl that should have been their children's cousin.
"I cannot take this, Gomez." She sniffled, eyes closing as she leaned to her lover. "She was only a baby, meant to crawl and stab. Now, gone."
Death was something that the Addams never sought to fight off, rather they wholeheartedly plunged their knives into it as they gladly fell into the pit of darkness. But even so, one cannot imagine the sorrow and sadness of losing a loved one. Loved one that might have been someone, should have been someone.
The wine red cloth was wrapped tight around their niece as she was laid on a dark room, the moon light accompanied her as the two adults whisked away from her. It was too much to bear for the Addams matriarch.
Soon, they would not be alone on their journey to the depraved path to Hell.
___________
A scream.
In a domino-like effect, the whole ship was turned upside down as the passengers have been made aware of the hole in their transport.
Two shadows were seen moving in the panic as though they have orchestrated the event.
They moved. Another scream, and another, and another, and another. Until the whole cruise was eerily silent in the dead of midnight. The churning of the engine's ship was bold enough to break the calm atmosphere of the two lovers on the deck, who held each other lovingly. It was a night for which an Addams who has now been avenged.
"Monsieur," The woman moaned. The man smirking excitedly, fire dancing in his eyes.
"Oh, Tish."
They moved to take off into the night but was interrupted-
A wail.
"Gomez," The woman hurriedly looked to her beloved who was just as surprised as her.
"Cara mia, that must have been her!"
The clock cried as its stroke went past midnight when the couple has reached the dimly lit room.
A wail was heard that night as the ship was burned, ever reaching its destination.
