Prologue 1 :What Destiny Has Stored
The early morning sunlight streamed through the large window of a beautifully decorated room, painting the walls in shades of gold. The room itself reflected the personality of its owner—bright, colorful, and full of life. A large calendar hung beside the study table. Several dates were crossed out with colorful markers. Only seven days remained. The owner of the room stood before it with sparkling eyes. "Only one week left!" she squealed excitedly. Grabbing a pink marker, she dramatically crossed out another date and drew a huge smiley face beside it. Then she twirled around happily. The cheerful girl was none other than Sanyukta Aggrawal. At twenty-two years old, Sanyukta was living what seemed to be the most beautiful phase of her life. Her birthday was approaching, and she had been waiting for it for almost a month. Every single day she reminded everyone about it. Every single day. And everyone in her family had become used to hearing the same sentence. "Only twenty-nine days left!" "Only twenty-one days left!" "Only fifteen days left!" And now... "Only seven days left!" A loud groan came from outside her room. "Sanyu!" someone shouted. Sanyukta laughed. That voice belonged to her eldest sister. "Yes, Di?" "If you remind us about your birthday one more time, I swear we're cancelling it." Sanyukta gasped dramatically. "You can't do that! That's illegal!" The entire house burst into laughter. That was Sanyukta. A walking bundle of happiness. A girl whose smile could brighten anyone's day. A girl who never failed to make people laugh. A girl who carried sunshine in her heart. She quickly rushed downstairs and entered the dining room. The entire family was already seated for breakfast. The moment she arrived, her three sisters exchanged knowing looks. "Good morning, birthday girl," one teased. Sanyukta grinned proudly. "Future birthday girl." Her second sister rolled her eyes. "Same thing." Their mother lovingly placed a plate before her. "Eat first, princess." Princess. That was exactly how everyone treated her. Being the youngest among four sisters came with several advantages. And Sanyukta enjoyed every single one of them. Whenever she wanted something, her sisters got it. Whenever she got into trouble, her sisters saved her. Whenever she cried, they stood ready to fight the entire world for her. To them, she wasn't merely their sister. She was their precious treasure. Their little princess. Their happiness. And perhaps... Their biggest fear. Sanyukta, however, remained completely unaware of that fact. She happily ate breakfast while discussing her birthday plans for the hundredth time. "I want a huge cake." "We know." "And lots of decorations." "We know." "And gifts." "We definitely know." Her sisters laughed as she pouted. Life was beautiful. Simple. Perfect. After breakfast she headed out to meet her friends. Like always, the moment she entered the café, a chorus erupted. "SANYUUUU!" She laughed loudly. Within seconds she was surrounded by her friends. Some pulled her into hugs. Some complained she was late. Some immediately started discussing birthday plans. Looking around at them, Sanyukta couldn't help smiling. She truly felt blessed. Many people spent their lives searching for genuine friendships. But she had an entire group of people who loved her. Who accepted her exactly as she was. A loud, dramatic, occasionally annoying girl. And she loved them equally. The afternoon passed in laughter and endless conversations. Yet... Something strange happened. For a brief moment, while her friends were talking, Sanyukta's attention drifted toward the café window. Outside, people walked past without a care. The sky above was bright and clear. She stared at it absentmindedly. A strange feeling touched her heart. Soft. Warm. Unfamiliar. Almost as if something was calling her. Waiting for her. She couldn't explain it. She couldn't understand it. But lately it had been happening often. Sometimes she found herself smiling without reason. Sometimes she became lost in thoughts she couldn't identify. Sometimes her heart raced unexpectedly. As though it knew something she didn't. "Sanyu?" She blinked. Her friend waved a hand before her face. "Where did you disappear?" Sanyukta quickly laughed. "Nowhere." But deep inside, she knew that wasn't true. Something was changing. She just didn't know what. Later that evening she returned home. The moment she entered, she found her parents sitting in the living room. Their expressions immediately softened upon seeing her. She smiled and rushed forward. "What happened?" "Nothing," her father replied. "Then why are you both looking so serious?" "We were just talking." She shrugged. Without thinking much about it, she hugged them both and ran upstairs. The moment she disappeared, silence filled the room. Her mother's smile slowly vanished. Her father looked toward the staircase. A deep sadness entered his eyes. "What will happen when she finds out?" her mother whispered. He didn't answer. Because he didn't know. Neither of them knew. For years they had protected her. For years they had hidden the truth. But now... Time was running out. Very soon, destiny would force everything into the light. And when that happened... Nothing would ever remain the same. Upstairs, completely unaware of the conversation, Sanyukta stood on her balcony. The evening breeze gently played with her hair. The sky had turned orange and purple. Beautiful. Peaceful. She smiled softly. Then once again... That strange feeling returned. Stronger this time. Her heart began beating faster. Her eyes searched the horizon. As if she expected someone to appear there. Someone she had never met. Someone she didn't even know existed. A small frown appeared on her face. "What's happening to me?" she murmured. The wind suddenly grew stronger. For a brief second, she thought she heard a whisper. A voice carried by the breeze. Calling her name. "Sanyukta..." She immediately looked around. But there was nobody there. The voice disappeared. Leaving only silence behind. A shiver ran down her spine. Yet strangely... She wasn't afraid. Instead, she felt curious. As though an invisible thread had begun pulling her toward an unknown destination. Far away from her peaceful world. Far away from the life she had always known. Toward a future filled with secrets. Toward a destiny she could never escape. And somewhere beyond the reach of her eyes... Someone else's destiny had already started intertwining with hers. A meeting was approaching. A truth was waiting. A storm was coming. And neither of them were prepared for what lay ahead. Because destiny had already begun writing a new chapter. A chapter filled with love. Heartbreak. Mysteries. Sacrifices. And unexpected twists. But for now... Sanyukta Aggrawal remained unaware. Standing beneath the fading evening sky. Smiling. Dreaming. And waiting for a future she couldn't yet
