Chapter 17

"Have you seen Hades yet? I heard Zeus was looking for him." Alpha Eljiah asked me grabbing the medical supplies next to me handing me some gauze. He motioned to the next wolf and we both walked that way.

"I am actually looking for him. You haven't seen him have you?" I examine the wound and look up at him. Elijah shakes his head.

"No I saw he was wounded and then all Hell broke loose." He said slightly smiling at his little pun.

"Has anyone seen Persephone? Maybe she knows where he is." I say glancing around the courtyard and looking for her.

"I saw Persephone's son? I think. I forget his name, your brother." Elijah says looking towards the Left Turret.

"Zagerus. I spoke to him about Hades and Cerberus but not his mom." I give a nod. I didn't talk about my siblings much and they are all named in Greek. If I wasn't related to him I probably wouldn't be able to say it. For crying out loud I am married to man named Deimos!

I give Elijah a wave as I jog over to the Left Turret this time walking into the room not knocking. My world crashes again. Cerberus lying on the table unconscious. Hygieia was stitching his side and didn't look at me. Macaria looked up at me and she walked over to me quickly trying to keep me from seeing what was going on. Persephone grabs medical tools and hands them off as Hygieia calls out what she needs.

"Anya. Everything will be fine we will get him all better." Macaria says trying to pull me away. I push her to the side and watch in horror as my dog lies dying.

Hades POV

'Damn it that hurt.' I think to myself as I teleport into the Underworld. I hold my stomach as I slowly walk through the fields Persephone oversees here. I finally make it to one of the training centers and I find a first aid kit as I quickly wrap my stomach.

When I get my injury bandaged I groan making my way back to the door. I stop for a moment and close my eyes feeling the pull to each of my kids meaning they are okay. Cerberus is a special dog and can only be saved by special measures.

I walk towards a wooded area in the Underworld that isn't visited very often, if at all. The grass is severely overgrown and hard to maneuver around, but I stumble around desperately. I get closer to the creek that runs through that section and I trip. I look down and notice I am bleeding through my bandages. Thankfully I brought extras. I use more of the bandages and take a break for a moment.

After a few moments of rest I went back on the journey into the forest. I get to a clearing after about two hours of walking and I see a dark purple flower glowing in the center surrounded by a field of blue flowers. I slowly make my way to the flower and I pull it from the ground. I take the two hour walk back to my mansion and I go right to Anya's room. In Anya's room is a spellcraft alter and cauldron. I start to grind the flower in a morter and pestle, combining it with various other herbs.

Suddenly the mixture turns bright blue and I pour it into a vial and hope that this will work and will help save Cerberus. I smile pleased with myself and I teleport back to Kaydagra.

When I teleport back I was thinking about getting to Cerberus. When I appear I am in one of the turret rooms on the south side of the wall. Hygieia is red faced and focused on saving Cerberus. Persephone was assisting her. Zagerus was in the corner of the room with Macaria and Anya.

"Anastasia!" I run to my children and gave Anya a very large hug. "Where is Deimos?" Anya looks at me like I have 4 heads.

"Dad?" She looks very confused almost like she's seeing through me.

"Anastasia. Look at me, where is your husband?" I ask again turning her away from Cerberus and forcing her to look at me.

"Dad. Deimos- Deimos is stable." She says. It takes me a moment to realize what she says. Stable. Meaning he was injured and it wasn't good. I stayed silent and pulled her into a rib crushing hug.

"I will fix this." I say right before letting her go. I walk over to Persephone and I give her a side hug before pulling out the vial. "The essence of the Passion Lily will help heal him." I carefully pour the mixture on Cerberus' side. All of a sudden Cerberus was lifted in the air by nothing and a bright blue light shown throughout the room.

When the light fades Cerberus is laying on the table not moving but his vitals look amazing. Anastasia takes a big shaky breath in and I nod at her. That's all she needed for her to run over and check Cerberus over one last time.

"I need to know. Hygieia can he be transported?" Anastasia asks looking between Hygieia and Hades. Hygieia looks over the monitors and looks over at Hades.

"Yes, Anya. He can be moved." Hades says giving Cerberus a longing look. Anya gives one nod and turns to her brother.

Anastasia's POV

"Zagerus, can Hydra and Griffin take Cerberus home?" Zagerus nods and leaves to go to find Hydra and Griffin before they take Cerberus back.

At this point most if not all of the injured have been treated and sent back to the main house. I shook my head a moment and came to the realization that Hades had been found. I turn to him and I see he has a sheepish smile.

"Dad, where did you go? Are you okay?" I say looking over the bandages across his stomach.

"Yes, I am fine. I am a God." Hades says with a chuckle.

"So is Deimos and he basically died in front of me," I say looking over him again.

"Anastasia. I am fine. I fought my father and uncles. I also was married to your mom. I can take on anything." Hades says with a chuckle. He walks me out the door of the turret and we see there is one more carriage so him and I take the hour-and-a-half ride back to the house.
