After I walked back into the meeting, we all sat there for another three hours and when we finally get out we can see tent-like cabins surrounding the Pantheon. The children who typically don't stay in Olympus having to stay to travel to Kaydagra tomorrow. Deimos and I walk to his cabin, now being a father he has his own tent and doesn't have to share one with his siblings. He opens the cabin and I step in taking my gold headband out of my hair sighing heavily.
"Deimos!" I hear a young lady yell before Deimos walks into the cabin. I turn as Deimos starts to shut the door and I stop it with my foot seeing a dark haired girl walking up with a smile. She sees me and you can see a slight glare.
"Oizys. How are you?" Deimos asks looking at me and back at her. The girl stops in front of Deimos, a little closer than I would like if I may add, and twirls her black hair between her manicured fingers.
"I am good. I don't know if you have met my wife. Anastasia, this is Oizys, Goddess of pain and distress, daughter of Nyx and Erebus. Oizys, this is my wife, Anastasia, Patron of Lyric Poetry and Dancing, daughter of Hades." Deimos says motioning between the two of us.
"Ooooh, your Melinoe's sister! Minthe mentioned Hades' love before Persephone." Oizys says looking me up and down with a disgusted look.
"My mother has nothing to do with this." I say getting defensive. What could have Melinoe said to her? I think looking at this woman I don't know.
"Oh, I didn't say anything about your mom. There are different forms of love. Deimos knows, being a son of Aphrodite and all." She says with a sultry smile looking at Deimos.
"Oh I see. You and my husband had a relationship at some point and Zeus didn't match you guys together and now your jealous," I look behind her and I see Phobos with Cassie walking towards us. Deimos sees this and groaned, "Now, if you would excuse me, I have to put Deimos and I's daughter to bed. You know toddlers." I smile, picking Cassie up as she rubs her eyes yawning. Deimos smiles at Cassie and kisses her head as I glare at him and head inside Bo following behind me confused.
"Oizys, it was nice to see you again. Have a good night." Deimos says knowing he's already in the dog house so he doesn't want to make it worse by standing out there talking to her. He turns and shuts the door as I come walking out of a side room after putting Cassie to bed.
"Oh. I am shocked you didn't want to talk to your girlfriend." I say walking towards the kitchen grabbing a glass of water.
"Anya, please don't do this. Her and I dated for like three months a long time ago." Deimos says not realizing Bo was sitting in the living room scrolling through his phone.
"Deimos, you were dating her when you were matched with Anya. Did you even really break up with her or just stop talking to her?" Bo says looking up from his phone. I bite my lower lip, give a slight chuckle and my eyes turn into purple daggers. If looks could kill and if Deimos wasn't a God he would have died six times since he shut the door.
"'A long time ago'. Your exact words correct?" I ask looking at Deimos. He crosses his arms and look at me like I am being dramatic.
"Anya." Deimos looks at me like he's bored of this game. Little did he know it wasn't a game.
"Answer my question. I want to make sure you understand why I am about to kill the God of Terror." I say taking a step towards him. Bo jumps up and runs between us.
"Whoa, Okay, as much as I would love to watch you tear into the Golden Boy; We have bigger problems to deal with." Bo says holding his hands up looking at me. I close my eyes and take a deep breath and grit my teeth.
"Deimos. I suggest you sleep in your father's cabin with your siblings tonight." Deimos opens his mouth to say something and I turn around refusing to look at him. "I don't want to hear it. I will be up and ready to go tomorrow." I walk into Cassie's room. I didn't care that going in there meant I would be sleeping in a glider. I sat down and wrap myself up in a blanket. I hear the front door open and close. I start to drift off to sleep.
I wake up the next morning and I am in an unfamiliar bed. I stretch and I can hear Cassie giggling in the other room. It takes me a moment to realize I'm in the bedroom in the cabin. I get dressed in black jeans, a t-shirt and a hoodie. I grab my tennis shoes and head into the living room. When I walk into the room I see Melinoe, Bo and Deimos in the room. I stop and look at Melinoe. I shake my head and put my shoes on.
"I am going to see my father. I will be back in time to leave." I start to walk out the door and Deimos grabs my hand gently. I stop and just stand there feeling his thumb rubbing against the back of my hand. "Not right now Deimos. Later." He drops my hand and I walk out the door. I walk to the Pantheon and I see my dad standing in the foyer. I walk up to him and I take a deep breath.
"I need you to talk to a good friend of yours, Hades." I say before he can talk. Hades looks at me quirking up an eyebrow.
"Could this have something to do Oizys?" I give him a confused look wondering how he already heard about it. "The incident happened outside. Not like y'all were in private. Hecate and Selene were walking by and heard. It's being dealt with just be happy Oizys isn't her mother or father's favorite."
I smile knowing that what ever happens it was deserved. I spend the morning in the Pantheon alone, sitting in my father's throne, thinking about what's going to be happening in Kaydagra. I look up when I hear someone walking in and I see it's Deimos in his leather jacket, gray shirt, jeans and motorcycle boots. His hair was unkept and with the light shining in from behind him he looked like the God he is; I look away as he approaches me and drops to his knees.
